Eh, 2 BEST albums and all Ayumi managed was #2. Oh well. Here's hoping Ayumi's revenues stay in the 5m+ yen area.

Most likely yep.
ASIA TOUR must've been a huge profit, if avex doing it again on 2008 for ayu.
I doubt they would do it again if they wouldn't see some millions from it.

Technically if they included tours, Mr. Children would have came out on top since they had a stadium and an arena tour this year (with a higher ticket price than Ayu)

She doesn't count for this year because she didn't release an album^^ Yes she released a single but that doesn't really count if you think about it o.o; Koda and Ayumi released a lot that's why they're up there^^ Congrats to them! Especially Ayu! xD

That's great and all, but I thought Ayu's music in terms of quality were much better than Kuu's. But she like, fiend this year, so...

^ yes she may have released very little but Ayu's A BEST 2 costed almost $60, so I'm guessing without that she wouldn't of made it even near 2. Congrats Ayu! Congrats to Kumi to even though this is a huge drop from her last year.

ayu didn't release a lot of stuff actually =P divided compilation album and 2 singles isn't a lot...

with no BEST album to help ayu next year...Guilty must really do well, and it applies to other new singles and DVD too inorder to help ayu retain her top position :S
