@bluegie: that's right. :yes Soba ni is what you can call "a slow but steady selling" single. I think it might achieve 500K in a few weeks. If so, then I really congratulate Aoyama. That's a hard feat to achieve for debuting artists. Most older artists can't even do that anymore.

avex should release Ayu as a new artist called 'Hamazaki Kurumi'. She would just release a catchy song and she'd sell like a wonder. Nobody should ever know it was her. :D

No, I dunno how well Aoyama sold per week... I just check the wiki about her weekly sales. Cuz I remember that her weekly sales neveer exceed 100K.

Anyway i don't think aoyama can pull out another longevity single anytime soon. Some debut artisit managed to achieve instant success initially, and their subsequent releases usually drop by alot...until they release another hit single.

I love the fact that even on Friday, the drop was really small compared to the previous day, and it would be nice if the sales don't drop below 3 k for a few days :D and I am pretty sure the Thelma girl was a one hit wonder...Even people like Yuna Ito or ayaka didn't last long.
