Rain tour's, learn multiple languages, do dramas/television, dances, CEO of his own record company, etc. All I've seen Colbert do is be a Republican and do comedy. :shrug Sorry but that's nothin' inspiration. But I can't help but think as to why Rain is at #1 as well. I hope it not a cruel joke or something.

Colbert has done a lot more than just be a comedian. You obviously know nothing about him, just like I know nothing about Rain. Colbert does plenty of these so called dramas and television, outside of his own show. Strangers with Candy anyone? Oh yes. The 2006 White House Correspondent's Dinner, anyone? That's pretty damn important.
And even though his running for president "failed" it really wasn't. He has so much influence over the people of America that actually came close to rigging an election. Excuse me but I mean, that's pretty damn important. And people actually did vote for him to be on the ballot, he just didn't have quite enough votes XD And from what I hear, Obama had a play i keeping him off the ballot, despite the fact he had a rising poll vote. People where VOTING FOR HIM.
He also added a new word to the dictionary. Has Rain done that?
And Unlike Rain, Colbert was actually named one of Time's top 100 most influential people. That was not under fan voting.
He also has his own Ice cream. It taste DELICIOUS.
He also gave the mascot to the Saginaw Spirit,a hockey team.
Virgin America also has named an airline after Colbert. Air Colbert.
So in all honesty, we can say they both are equally influential in a DIFFERENT WAY. But trust me, Colbert IS influential.
