Rain is being pushed by both P. Diddy and JoJo. I saw him live at Madison Square Garden two years ago, and both of them made appearances on stage to give their support. Apparently Rain is also the first asian model for P. Diddy's clothing line.

I can't believe he was a model for P. Diddy. OMG! *squeals like a fangurl* If he's being pushed by P. Diddy, he's bound to get some recognition.....not that he doesn't now. I think he's quite well-known because of Stephan Colbert (major luv to him) rivalry. OMG, I'm so hoping for his success. I'm waste my freakin' dollars on him so he better succeed dammit. :bringit

I remember seeing that video of Diddy and JoJo with Bi. But I didn't know that he modeled for Sean John! That's great! I really hope all these legal troubles aren't messing up his US debut, because he's been here for what? 2 years already and we don't have one song leak?

OK after listening to Rain's stuff some more this morning, I remembered why I'm not exactly impressed by his music much of the time. A lot of his stuff sounds like a huge, blatant rip-off of American music. Here's some of the ones I've noticed:

-"Touch Ya" - "So Excited" by Janet Jackson
-"Don't Stop" - "Control Myself" by LL Cool J and J. Lo
-"Him & Me" - "Let Me Hold You" - Bow Wow
-"Oh Yeah!" - "Yeah!" - Usher

I included YouTube links so people can compare... everyone watch them please, lol, it took me a while to do this post :laugh
