That's garbage. I do not for a second believe that stupid rumor (excuse me if I am wrong), but why on earth would it even cite the song as "Moments" in the CM if it wasn't meant to be a song in the first place?

Well you can still name it something, just because it's not a full song. Like interludes and openings.

But really, how likely is it. It was meant to be a single, I mean, there's usually (I'm not saying there has to be) a distinct difference in Ayu songs that were written whole vs. the songs that were extended (Mirrorcle World, until that Day...). Moments is just a masterpiece that she clearly wrote in whole. If I wasn't too tired or lazy I'd look up the facts that point against that stupid rumor, lol.

I think it's different when we have had solid proof straight from avex or Ayu's lips.

ie. Secret originally being a mini-album, It Was being cut from (miss)understood, until that Day... originally being an interlude, etc.

According to many people's older posts on the subject, they think that Memories was a rumor that was never official when in fact it was posted by the arranger himself on his website along with Moments.. @_@~

I talk with Rody! a lot, so perhaps he knows more about it than I do.. @_@

Well, in the case of Memories I do believe, because I remember seeing official evidences of it existing. I can't tell if the song changed titles, or if they just threw it in the closet though.
