Re:★ 31st August 2008 07:28 PM

No love for The Sats. :no I can't wait for tomorrow now! I heard Up for the first time yesterday while surfing Perez. It's really neat, I dunno if it's as good as ITIL or Issues but I still really like it~

drewbilation 31st August 2008 07:34 PM

they do have fan(s) on here, though. they just don't post in this thread much.

also, another album track leaked today, called "Not Good Enough." it sounds a bit like a slower "Lies."

drewbilation 3rd September 2008 12:52 AM

the video's out. I like it, but I think my expectations were too high. the song is still <3333 though.

Una choosing her mic, and her hair-blowy-landing = AMAZING. also, Vanessa is a ****ing diva.

Re:★ 7th September 2008 06:15 PM

I love Up! Is it true that the album's called Taking Back Sunday? =x

Lol, I downloaded New Direction by S Club Juniors yesterday!

drewbilation 7th September 2008 11:46 PM

that was the rumored title, but it seems like they've changed it. we'll know all the details pretty soon, 'cause it's out October 20th.

drewbilation 9th September 2008 04:30 PM

the album's title is officially "Chasing Lights."

In fact, the whole album is not dissimilar to recent labelmates Girls Aloud's output and is an eclectic affair of pop, dance and electro, with some ballads thrown in for good measure.

Re:★ 13th September 2008 07:37 PM

Neat title. Do you have a HQ rip of Up by chance? I only have this horrible radio rip that cuts at certain places. I'm addicted to the song and I'm so buying it at HMV when it's out!

drewbilation 13th September 2008 07:39 PM

^ I uploaded the HQ promo disc in the downloads section last night.

Re:★ 13th September 2008 09:52 PM

^ Oh. :bchuck I'll thank you there!

drewbilation 13th September 2008 10:47 PM

^ yeah. the remixes are a bit lackluster, imo, though I do like the Wideboys mix a bit.

also, preview of the "Up" b-side, "Crashing Down," is out. and surprisingly, Mollie actually gets to sing in this.

drewbilation 17th September 2008 12:02 PM

Pop band The Saturdays are set to guest star in an episode of Late Night Hollyoaks to be screened in November on E4. The Saturdays are a five piece girl band who supported Girls Aloud on their stadium tour and have recently taken the charts by storm with their first single If This Is Love, which reaching number eight in the singles charts.

It's The Battle of the Bands competition and Hollyoaks student band, The Dirty Diegos are chasing their dream of making it big. As the band prepare to take to the stage they run into The Saturdays, who are headlining the gig.

Drummer Rhys (Andy Moss) does his best to chat the girls up, much to their amusement, while the other members of the band try to overcome their first night nerves and find themselves bickering amongst themselves. Josh (Sonny Flood) has upset the other members of the band and it is down to one of the members of The Saturdays to persuade The Diegos' keyboard player Sasha (Nathalie Emmanuel) to overcome her fears and give it her best shot.

As the competition heats up, The Dirty Diegos take to the stage and after a hesitant start they pull off a great performance but will it be enough to snatch the award?

Lucy Allan, Producer of Late Night Hollyoaks said: "We are very excited to have The Saturdays on board and can't wait to hear their performance – I am sure that they will teach The Dirty Diegos a thing or two!"

The Saturdays said: "We're really excited about being in Late Night Hollyoaks because we love the show! We are a bit nervous though about performing in front of the cast!"

The scenes involving The Saturdays will be filmed at a Liverpool club over the next couple of weeks. Late Night Hollyoaks will be screened on E4 in November.

Re:★ 5th October 2008 12:41 AM

The album cover for Chasing Lights is out, isn't it? My and my friend were outraged that Rochelle and Una are wearing the same color dresses! >____<

drewbilation 5th October 2008 06:53 PM

^ I haven't seen it yet. link me plz?

but~ starting Monday, their official MySpace will be uploading 30 second clips of each album track, and the full thing will be available to stream on Channel 4 starting the 13th.

they also performed a bit of "If This Is Love," "Up" and were interviewed yesterday on BBC Sound. Una revealed that Vanessa is most likely to get knocked up by Eddie Murphy lolz!
