The only ones I know are Anna Tsuchiya & OLIVIA who are going to drop their new LP & EP real soon but they're not those acts that you considered big sellers

Sure Hikki's sales are consistent, but I doubt she'd ever sell AS MUCH if she didn't have all the drama tie-ins, and packed the album with darker and more depressive songs. I don't think she'll be selling like that for ever, as even she had a less successfull singles, such as the post COLORS (up to FoL) ones which sold quite poorly considering the single sales weren't that poor in 2005.

^ eh single sales doesn't seem to matter THAT much XD ~! A lot of artists don't have strong single sales but still have strong album sales ~ Like even tho hikki's single sales were low during that time Ultra BLue stil sold 900k XD ~! I think it just depends if people will buy it or not.

Although Utada's physical CD sales been decreasing as time goes by , she's a really strong digital seller which frankly scares me of sorts

I'm pretty sure it was the fact that her music was quite strange during the ULTRA BLUE era. I honestly was not surprised at all that "Passion" flopped so hard, as it wasn't exactly the most radio-friendly song ever, even with the huge Kingdom Hearst 2 tie-in. Hikki's just returned to her roots with HEART STATION, writing songs that people are able to connect with. That's why not only FOL did well, but also BW and K&C, and HS/SG did really well on downloads and whatnot especially since it was released right before the album. And Hikki's consistently been able to sell well, even with UB.
