They picked him because he stood out. I must remind you though, SM has been known to be very picky on looks, so they base probably 50% on that area.

Ugh. BUT, that wont stop me if I were to attend. People shouldn't concentrate so much on looks. It's about the talent. The world today sucks :(

argh I wanna try out for SM. I'm part Korean, but even if they pick me (which they wouldn't I don't look asian ) I doubt I'd do well in Korea since I'm gay. lol

I don't think it's racist. It's already something that they don't mind other Asian races. It's SM Entertainment. They are looking for singers that will perform in Korea. It's normal IMO that they only want Asians. :shrug
