i LOVE new calendar <3 i need it!

I really don't like the last one. Again this expression I don't like.. with the half open mouth.
But I really like the one in front of the Casino!

i actually like them. much better than last year's so far.

I don't think they're a "hot mess". It follows the cover pic's Diva theme, and a little of the seasons, doesn't it? At least, I don't think it's a "hot mess".

PS: Why "hot" anyway? o.O

Some people use the word hot mess to say that something looks really bad. I agree I do not like the whole half mouth open look but she looks really happy in the pictures and she looks fantastic. I like how looks sexy without looking trashy I give two thumbs up to Ayu's stylist and one to her photographer for making her take a few pictures that are not suiting her, to well.

I hate the phrase "hot mess". x_x it's one of those stupid phrases that fashion shows have coined and it makes no sense to any of us who aren't into fashion at all. Plus it sounds like the COMPLETE opposite of what it means. I eagerly await the day the phrase "hot mess" goes out of style. x_x

Anyway, I don't expect ayu to ever have a theme that's artistic or cohesive anymore. Her only theme these days is "pretty" and honestly, that's not a theme. She needs more artistic & creative input from other people, otherwise calendars will be messy like this one for the rest of her career.

I still like the asian outfit/leg picture. She needs to do more stuff like that. :P

Wow it's so much better than the last few years, she doesn't appear to be as overly airbrushed as last years.

And frankly, I don't give a crap about a "theme", I just want the pictures to look nice when they're on the wall, and I would be happy to have either of these pictures on my wall.

I see people complaining about her open mouth and I am sure there will be more; every photoshoot thread seems to have these complaints. BUT if you actually go look back at her older shoots, some even as early as 2001 or 2002, she does that same face in some pics. That's probably one of her poses that she just likes or maybe she thinks it makes her look hot. :shrug She has done it all the time and not just with a certain photographer or something. So I don't understand why peeps sometimes get all in a tiz bout it. (Not saying anyone has yet in this thread, but other threads people seem to think it's a big deal.)

I actually find the face to be quite sexy, so. XD It works for some of us, at least! As long as she's not making a face that makes her look vacant & stupid, though, I'm cool with it, really. I am SO GLAD the "Ooh!" face seems to have finally gone away.

Personally, I think Kazuyoshi is forcing his aesthetic aka "pretty" onto Ayu instead of letting her do the whole cohesive thing. The sad part is that Ayu could just be like "Kazuyoshi. You're lame." but she seems like love what he's doing while he's doing it..

LAAAAME. If some people haven't noticed, Kazuyoshi has been behind basically all of Mirrorcle World's promotional materials, over 75% of her magazines, and A COMPLETE / other stuff like the calendars. UGGGH. GTFO.
