Yep, February 25th.

First week of March and the 4th just happens to fall on a Wednesday.

I'm glad she's releasing a week earlier..hopefully it'll give her more room for promo

Why is Avex still keeping us in the dark without any info or anything yet. o_O

Avex has just become lazy with her releases :headache Even though Supreme Show just sold a bit more than DOLCE I hope they see the potential Ami has, hopefully with this upcoming single she actually receives promotion.

^ Either that, or Avex isn't giving much attention to her. :/

well they certainly have a lot of their artists coming out with stuff really soon. Maybe she's on the bottom of the "attention list." :(

I thought the promotion that Avex gave her for AROUND THE WORLD album was really good. But after that album, I always thought that the promotion started to decline, and things got worse. :/

Maybe ami is just doesnt care about being number one anymore? Her last 4 albums have really just been her trying out new sounds, maybe she just cares more about growing as an artists now than selling millions?

I kinda miss the music she did with SONY - the mainstream pop songs. I'm not really a huge fan of the stuff she is doing now with Avex - the dance/electronic type of songs.

I wish she did more songs like Like a Love? and Crystal.

I agree, CONNETTA is her best Avex album . . . but at the same time, its so perfect I wouldn't want her to make another album like it.

CONNETTA is a good album. I wouldn't mind if Ai Otsuka wrote another song for Ami. The lyrics of Like a Love? were pretty good IMO.

She did say in that interview that she is well aware of her current sales and that she thinks that people still haven't accepted her, but regardless she is happy to be making the music she likes. Sure they could prolly try investing into promoting her, but atm she isn't the only AVEX girl who needs loads of promo sadly :(

I'm really interested in this new single. If she really does something with more urban sound that really would be interesting. Though I can imagine Ami singing songs like that. And though as much as I like her electronic voice, I like her voice more on AROUND THE WORLD, CONNETTA and DOLCE. Her voice isn't so vocooded (whatever the word was) on the latter, but anyway. Her voice is very awesome and it was a shame it was so strongy modified for Supreme Show. :< But I still love Supreme Show. Awesome album that is. <3

And I think I agree that CONNETTA isn't a flop. I really adore that album and some of the songs I first heard her are from this album (Sore mo kitto shiawase and EVERYTHING TO me) and those songs are the ones I fell in love with. <3

But I'm glad that Ami Suzuki keeps singing. She really does it with feel. And if she really doesn't care about her sales then that's a good attitude. I'd do the same if I were a singer.
