They are good friends last I heard. I think people are having such reactions because Ayu shared her first kiss with him in that movie? Well, by first kiss I mean on screen and not in personal life. Was that her first kiss on screen? I'm not sure.

Maybe ayu finally gets to date shawn openly?? Then both of them got married and they have a baby eventually. The END. Although it's pretty cheesy, i can't think of better endings.. haha
