I also noticed that Waterballoon (though i didn't go as deep as you hehehehe :P) , and actually Maikaru kind of mentioned before, because she said Pieces of seven was a continuation of Love n' Hate. I kind of felt the connection because of the numbers she mentions in the songs.Also, pieces of seven starts as a very sweet, peaceful mellody, and then... it becomes a hard rock song, which in my opinion makes echo musically to the "love and hate" of the previous track :yes

That it is, but it still doesn't do the job it was put there to do, it's a horrible transition into Days, it should have gone somewhere else or replaced another interlude :3

Pieces of SEVEN is my favorite interlude from her, ever! Interlude as in comparing to the rest of her interludes... but yeah it's bad as a transition. Oops!

And well, she might also have taken her 7 years of relationship with Nagase into consideration as well.

That's what I meant and also wrote in the lyrics' thread. I hoped "Pieces of SEVEN" would be a full song, because it surely would have had awesome lyrics. But the usage of this title for an interlude is also nice.

There's one part in "Days" that makes me think that it isn't about Nagase.
That means the person who it was written for must be in a relation since a longer time. That's why I think "LOVE'n'HATE" and "Days" are about different people.

but when people say songs are probably about Nagase i doubt it. i think people are reaching when they're saying the '7' refers to their relationship.. not everything has to be about him. i think she's pretty much over him :laugh

^I don't assume everything is about Nagase. But there're songs throughout her whole career that seem to be about the same person, so why wouldn't she write about Nagase?

I've always thought that Days was definitely about Nagase and how he is now moving on with a different girl. Love'n'Hate also seems pretty obviously about him, at least to me. :) It doesn't sound like this song is about a crush at all, but about a past love who she wanted to love fully but for whatever reason inside of herself she was not able to. Nagase wanted the relationship to get more serious for a long time (hence why he stuck around for 7 years), but its commonly believed that Ayu was the one holding back. I think Love'n'Hate's lyrics express her mixed feelings about that.
