Honestly its not such great news when the number of copies sold is no where near the number of copies shipped. Avex must have been expecting her to at least hit close to 500k, as was I.

That's great news! Although at the end it will not sell near the amount shipped...atleast avex/ayu made money from the amount shipped. I don't think next album will reach this status.

too bad it'll take her two years to sell them all.

And plus, think of it as the equivalent of 2 million copies in America, right?

Then you say that with Duty they were expecting it to sell 3 million, with (miss)understood they were expecting it to sell a million, with Secret 750,000 and now with NEXT LEVEL 500,000?
(and that's without mentioning other of their artists with a huge difference between the shipped and sold copies).

Great news! Since they're counting the copies shipped, the 500k includes all the copies sold through YA and other stores that don't count Oricon sales!

I think the situation is better than "there are 200k unsold copies in shops". Not all stores send in details for Oricon!!!
