I don't like Lady Gaga... but she can compose, write lyrics and is a good vocalist... So, yeah, she is talented....

anybody can write lyrics, anybody can compose. anyone can design clothing with the right amount of attention focused to it. it doesn't mean they're good at it.

actually most of her more sexual songs weren't even written by her and a lot of her lyrics talk about much more than that. koda kumi may be a sexual person but she doesn't go around talking about it in every interview to the point where it's annoying
I read 3 or 4 interviews of Lady Gaga, no sex in any of them...
When she starts to grab her dancer's penises on her videos... then, we can talk...

No, they can't. There's a LOT more to composing then thinking of a tune. You have to have a really good understanding of music to be able to successfully compose. What you consider "good tunes" is not a measure of talent. It's a personal opinion. If she wasn't talented, then NO ONE would like her and she wouldn't have put out an album

okay, i disagree.
so many untalented people in the US put out albums..
Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, so many untalented rappers that'll get a #1 singing about sex. only a handful of people on top of the billboard charts have real talent

I'm not starting a Koda-bashing-thing... I'm only wondering why is this right for Koda and wrong for Gaga... It's because Koda is japanese?

By the way... Miley Cyrus is a good vocalist and performer (considering she is only 16... the girl can be amazing in some years)

no. it's because koda has more to her than just her sexual image. lady gaga has yet to show much more of her. all she talks about are her sexcapades and how she signed some mans penis or how she had sex in the back of a taxi-cab.. how she used to be a stripper. and then she comes off as completely conceited and goes on about how she's a living legend and was born to be a star and how she saved pop music.

Besides LoveGame, Summer Boy, Boys Boys Boys, and Poker Face NONE of her songs are about sex (And, some of those are a stretch, or include a side mention to it). koda kumi has a few songs about sex. she does not talk about it in her interviews, and she has never been caught about to lick some tranny's coochie in a club. she has done some vulgar things, but i think she pulls off sexy without looking trashy.

and humping a bottle totally compares to what lady gaga does on a daily basis.. lol. right.

i didn't say all of her songs were about sex, and believe me i've tried to like her and find just a bit of talent in her but can't. i've listened to all those songs you've mentioned and their lyrics are very weak.

but, now i understand her fans a bit more. you like her because you think she has talent which i can't comprehend.. and because she's insane.. great

Grabing side dancers penises on videos, simulating sex and oral sex with dancers on tours... That's ok?

"trasy" and "vulgar" are very relative things... There is not a definition of what's exactily vulgar and what's not... IMO Koda is VERY trashy... So is Gaga, but I don't see it as a bad thing....

By the way... the only reason why Koda doesn't talk about sex on her interviews is that a singer doing this on Japan would mean early retirement =)

And again, we're back to you don't like how she sounds. Which is perfectly cool, everyone has their own tastes. You just like nothing about her, and that's fine. But it doesn't make her "talentless"

Well, I'm just asking why Koda can be trashy and why Gaga can't, because I think it's a little strange that there are (not you) people using this as a scientific proof that Gaga has no talent =)
