does anyone know when he died

uncle said 1994
and wiki says 1998

ehe i stole The Very Best Of Frank Sinatra cd from dad

ah got it confused, Danny Williams was the first person to record it, but it became Andy Williams' theme song, but Frank Sinatra wasn't the original singer

@JackieRos: I repeat, Sinatra did died in 1998, during may. He retired from showbusiness in 1994, so that's why many people are confused
@hayasaki: Actually, most of Sinatra's hits were just covers, not original songs

^oh ah sowie i missed that thanks yeah i was so confused

i don't care for his music cos he is not my era....havent really heard his music

Don't judge if you haven't heard
:D

It's my favourite singer EVER.
I am always touched by his voice.

I'm in between yes and no. I chose yes, but it's really more of "I guess so.."

Yep, love his voice!
Fly me to the Moon :luv2

THE voice

The Chairman of the Board had one of the best voices ever (2nd, behind Utada IMO)

:thud :thud :thud

Our Ayu can't beat this guy in terms of release! O_O

I do like him but not very much.

Yeah... almost no human being can top his releases :D Except Elvis Presley, that is... But his professional career was almost 6 decades long, and most studio releases included covers, show tunes or previously recorded material

And Jackie, Sinatra has as much as 100 compilations and box sets, and like 20 live albums, though most of them are unofficial or limited releases... And well over 30-40 tribute albums are dedicated to him... I personally own well over 50 albums & singles
