I was just thinking about this the other day...But I'd prefer a self-cover album with new vocals and new music rather than an album that included the 10th anniversary songs---Don't get me wrong, they were okay, but lets just face it. When a person talks about Depend on You or LOVE ~Destiny~ as a song, no one thinks of their tenth anniversary versions, only their originals. The new versions sounded too similar for my tastes.

Anyway, a self-cover album of her greatest hits or fan-favorites would be nice.

I want her to release a "10th anniversary "revisited"" type of album. 20 randomely selected songs from her first 2 (maybe 3) albums that she resung and recomposed. sort of. or just sung over again. That would be awesome. Plan B. a remake of her xx album. I would like that too.

So in fact, it hurts me as an Ayu fan, when someone says that her vocals were bad. Well, it's not everyone's taste I know, but then calling oneself and prasing oneself as the biggest fan of Ayu in the world, I cannot understand.

I respect other's opinion, I really do. But I also want to be understood that, it's easy said;"Hey, she should re-record this 'LOVEppears' and 'Duty' 'cause her vocals are so squezzy."

Don't you, think that it was hard work for Ayu to get such vocal skills. She's not a naturally born singer, as everyone knows. SO if their vocals were really so bad those two albums wouldn't have sold about 2 Million times.
And it's easy said that she should re-record.

I like her re-corded songs, and I'm also for that, that she should re-record 'ASFXX', but man not 'LOVEppears' and 'Duty'.

^Madonna was a terrible singer until she played Evita (and now she is average with some good moments) and still, she is the best selling female singer ever... Good/bad voice doesn't reflect on good/bad sales....

IMO Ayu was a disaster as a vocalist until 2001 when she was average... and only became good on 2002... So what? An I dumb cuz I think that M has one of the most annoying vocals ever recorded on the music history even if the song itself is very good? If you like her old voice and don't wanna respect who doesn't, stay away from the topics about disliking it...

I like Ayumi's voice (new and old) and her older songs, it's just that listening to any more of a whole album of that can make my head hurt, lol.... Is that really so bad? I mean, that girl can really squeak. o_o Her voice started to change during I am..., but the squeaky was definitely still there. Songs like poker face, kanariya, Duty, End of the World, Dearest, NEVER EVER.... They all have at least one moment where you're like, "holy crap, how does she do that with her voice!? :O" lol.
Just because you can admit that Ayu wasn't a diva until later in her career (looks or voice-wise) doesn't make you dumb or a bad fan. :(

I think her vocals are good on all her albums...but people aren't dumb for not liking anything before Duty, I can totally understand that. Personally ASF and Lp are two of my favourite albums..but yeah. XD

I liked ASFXX (the album), I just think that the songs would probably should even better with Ayu's current voice

Of course we know that Ayu won't really go and re-record every album...and that's why we're just thinking what songs that we want, it's not like we'll go and petition Ayu to re-record her old songs....
