Yeah, I would like to see some actual proof as well? He can make our gaydars go off as much as we want but I rely on the person themself for that info.

Anyway, Ew. No. But I'm biased and don't like him.

^ Exactly. Did he actually come out and say "I'm gay" or "I'm a homosexual" in his blog or whatever? People are too quick to analyze what people say. And if he is gay, and is hinting towards it and a possible coming-out-of-the-closet, we aren't making things any easier by jumping the gun already. But enough about that, I don't want anything to get political here. But yeah... if he's gay, let's wait for him to say it himself instead of trying to decode the stuff he says and does (as we the public tend to do with lots of celebrities, it seems)

Until I hear it from his mouth, I won't believe it, either. :no

Oh and, I never really stated my thoughts on them as a couple. Ever since CDL07-08, when they were pretty closely dancing in a lot of the performances, I kinda got the vibe they had something going on. But now all this stuff about him being gay is throwing me off. I still think they have some chemistry, though. ;)

Which is why I don't believe it, I can't stand the "gaydar". You cannot tell whether or not someone is gay just by stereotypes, if you can then you're grossly stereotyping..

I never ever thought Shuya was gay. :shrug I just don't see it. :no Like...seriously, guys. I don't. Maybe it's because I grew up around so many theater majors that weren't gay. :laugh

I personally love Shuya, and think Ayu and Shuya would make a GREAT couple. :yes I'm probably one of the few people on here that isn't sick of her always using him in her PVs and would love if they got together. If they're not actually secretly together, I wouldn't doubt if there was some serious sexual tension going on there. :P

Well, in a Shu-ya discussion several months, someone mentioned Shu-ya's old blog had a post about him being gay... :shrug

~~But it has always been my fantasy for him to be gay...~~

In any case, I don't know why so many people dislike him too... he's the coolest looking dancer... and he's really tall, and has hot hair, lol.

nah, Ayu used Shu-ya even before 2007, and she is apart with Tomoya from very late 2007, so it's just a non-sense what you wrote, and Ayu mentioned thay are just a friends.

It's called professionalism xD Do you think actors fall in love with each other just for doing romantic scenes together? Or even porn actors (who have more intimate contact) fall in love for their colleagues? I don't say that you can't fall for someone you work with, but they are just dancing/acting, doing a routine that they've rehearsed thousands of times. I higly doubt that Ayu feels romantic and ready for love during those dances, she is probably tired and concentrating on giving the best show that I think she barely thinks about Shu-ya xD

I don't know. Does it even matter, as you said before quoting me? I mean, I don't give a crap. But yeah, if I'm questioning him being gay, I guess I think he's straight for the time being. But I haven't contemplated it, or decided, "Yeah, I think he's straight". Seriously, the thought about him being gay or straight never even crossed my mind before I found out about all these discussions about him being outwardly gay and whatnot.

I wish his sexuality didn't even matter this much. I dunno why a simple topic about whether people think him and Ayu are together had to turn into "No way, cuz he's so totally gay" discussion.

As for me, the only reason I'm thinking and talking about this now is because I just wanted to see the proof, and the way some people are saying he's gay so lightly and how obvious it is, it just seemed to me like this is merely speculation. Just the way it's being discussed, I really don't know what to think. :shrug

But really, can we try to go back to the subject of Ayu and Shu-ya being together, and not that "they can't ever be because Shu-ya's gay"? :bsigh
