yeah, i know. i'm just so used to reading entries where she seems really happy and excited. it always makes me sad to read about her feeling depressed. i always wish the best for her.

Ayu...please. It's already bad enough that every artist and actor in America is flashing off their stuff every five seconds...I wish someone would tell her TO STOP SHOWING HER SPARKLE-PRODUCTS. I like them, but it's just more evidence of how far apart we are as her fans (financially & materialistically).

Yeah, I agree. It shows how much Diva she is. She isn't that much down to earth anymore like she was some years ago.
I mean, some of those things are nice (her laptop for example), but it feels too much... well, at least for me as well.

I don't see the problem with it. Her sparkle goods are all over the place, haha. She has like what, 4 cell phones, all with different crystal designs? This kind of thing isn't that rare in Japan, since you can buy stickers with gemstones on them and have the same kind of thing. However, I think Ayu's are real crystal, ohoho.

It's kind of like asking Ayu to not wear designer brands or shop LV just because we as fans can't really afford it. If she can afford these luxuries, why can't she splurge? It's not like she's wiping her behind with 2000yen bills. She's making things that normally look bland look ~kirakira~ and unique to her. What's wrong with that?

It's just a bit much imo to ask that she ~stop~ just because you aren't comfortable with her 'flaunting her money' at us. I think she's just showing us things that she's had made for her.. which is normally what Japanese people do on their blogs. They show their purchases/recent things they ate/etc... blogs in Japan seem to mainly be made to show off goods anyway, haha.

I don't think so. Those aren't diamonds like many gangster rappers own, they're Swarovski crystals and it's a very in-thing right now in Japan to have your stuff bedazzled. Many teenagers and women in their 20s have their mobile phones bedazzled. My cousin makes stuff like that for her friends. She buys Swarovski crystals from the wholesaler and creates jewellery/accessories etc.

And besides, the Ayu from years ago, well, she had those stuff as well. No change. She likes her stuff bedazzled. Period.

If I made as much money as Ayu, I would be shopping at luxury brands as well. What's the big deal. Some of the pictures posted on the TA website as well were requests by fans. Like when the fans requested to see the chandelier in her house, she posted a picture.

I don't like the designer brands, her chandelier etc. as well.
I know that many young woman love sparkling stuff and decorate their phones as well, but Ayu's are real crystals, don't forget that. I don't care about if her fans can identify with her lifestyle, it's her life, but I don't like it personally, that's all.^^
If I had that much money I wouldn't begin to buy designer stuff and all just because I can afford it. That's stupid. Cause there is good stuff outthere from non-brands or cheaper brands. I don't get the hype about the designers to be honest. :shrug
It's one thing to be a Diva as an image for a singer, but to be it in personal life as well is another.
You needn't to wear designer brand in real life and on stage.
