Her rating was quite good actually, considering that she was the opening act.

Over all rating for this Kouhaku was impressing. I have to say that I really enjoyed watching all the performances through the whole time.
The DCT's rating is not that surprising though. They performed as the last act for Akagumi, and it was really excellent performance too.

Eh, you can rationalize that it was because she was the opening and that she improved from last year, but in a list of 24 artists, Ayu, the queen of J-pop, couldn't get more viewers than even one of the 23 other artists? Idk, It seems a bit sad :no

Perfume is my favorite artist but I really don't think they deserved to have top 5 in rankings....they lip-synced the whole song @_@. Oh well...gratz to them anyway for spot on dancing and high energey! :D And also, making a point to say gratz to ayaka....her performance blew me away...and Ayu, good job for the opening....

someone should make a list showing the rank and also when they performed...so we can see how they compare.

Why is that sad? Exile were third lowest in ratings among the guys (they sang second) and Exile have sold a ton of records over the past two years.

And yes, with the exception of SMAP and the first-timers, the ratings more or less coincide with performance order.

Also, please take note that these ratings are for the Kanto region only.

Sorry, but if you're looking for them, they were NOT in the Kouhaku...don't you understand!!? It's an invitational-only event - L'Arc~en~Ciel weren't even invited!!!

The're pretty big and could perfectly turn down the offer, or not attend for whatever reason.

I'm pretty sure Namie was invited for example, but she declined her offer as she's being doing over the years.

oh ayu, she has to preform first as to hurry off to her coundown concert right? This years Kohaku was entertaining but I felt lots of people were missing. Flumpool debuts early and tops Ayu??? Huh I wish shirogumi would have preformed first... Kids kouhaku was really kawaii too :)
