Late on the discussion, but comparting Kumi's PINK SPIDER with the original, I like Kumi's version better.

hide's verses are better, but Kumi's chorus is waaay better!

I also like the way Kumi stretches the final syllables in the "Ano kumo ga toorisugitara..." verse. The instrumental part right after this verse is also wonderful!

I was wondering, in that part of the song, after the "Ano kumo ga toorisugitara..." things, Kumi does a narration on the backvocals, just like in the original version. What does she say?

Kuu looks lovely on the EDGE STYLE cover, but can I just say that that is really bad marketing by the magazine company. :dead2 I would never have known the magazine's title if you hadn't put it in the caption. Japanese magazines marketed towards young girls are often cluttered, but this takes it to a different level, I think. Lol...

I wish they were bigger, because they always highlight better stuff, rather than all the fluff you get in all the popular mags.

I agree so much about Edge Style. I really love that magazine.

But, I'm not at all crazy about that cover. Too much going on, the colors don't mix well and honestly I don't think Kuu looks that great. Unless hot mess is what they were going for, in which case, well done!

I've always loved Kuu's photoshoots for Edge Style. They're always so amazing and sexy! :)

I still maintain that Kana reminds me of a mix of Kuu and Ayu. She has Kuu's round face and taste for R&B. But, her style both fashion wise, make up wise and musically, she has more of the softness/gyaruness of Ayu.
