Why are people being so obsessive about what avex does. Who cares. If they want to release 10 recut singles let them. You either buy them or not.

Imo Terminal is among the best tracks on the album. The lyrics are simple, but nice and the beat is just amazing.

It's miles better than XOXO which drags on and can be fairly annoying, way better than Angel which barely has any content besides her yelling I wanna be an angel wowowowowo for you...

CDJapan must be put a B2 size poster :( maybe avex taiwan will have it

waterballoon 10th September 2014 02:45 PM

well the cover is really pretty and dark hair yay!

kendelle 10th September 2014 02:51 PM

I went ahead and bought the set, I'm a bit anxious about the streaming limitation mentioned though :(

It's nice to hear a studio version of the dub mix without the talking in it from the radio show. I wonder if it's the version on the cd. Cause in the downloads section it's labeled as "Radio Edit" but on cdjapan it's just labeled as "Dub Mix". I want to just assume that the radio edit is just the short version of the dub mix, but then again for Naturally the "wippenberg remix" and the "wippenberg radio edit" are the same thing.

^ I hope it's just a shorter version, too, since this one is... awkwardly cut lol

Pieces_of_SEVEN 10th September 2014 08:29 PM

Ugh. I need xoxo to be on Amazon so I can order it.

orangeakira 10th September 2014 08:41 PM

avex says the xoxo single is going to be the original song, a remix, the video and making of, and I guess an interview with her explaining the song? "ayu楽曲解説 Video" -- "ayu musical composition explanation video".

We already have the original song, video, and making of on the colours album. I sure as hell am not spending $25 just to listen to a remix of XOXO and watch an interview on her explaining the song. Not only that it's only accessible for a limited time.

Pass.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 10th September 2014 08:42 PM

It's stupid. I just have an obsession. And OCD. need everything. But it is probably her worst release.

DonkeyKongRemix 11th September 2014 12:16 AM

I'm listening to the song right now, hoping (though not expecting) for some kind of ambient remix, though I may have already said this. An orchestrated mix would be CRAZY. And POSSIBLY amazing.

I wish I was good or even knew how for that matter how to make remixes. XD

Oh, what a wonderful thing that would be. >.<

I STRONGLY ADVISE FANS NOT TO PURCHASE THE XOXO PLUG AIR.

I took a look at Plug Air's website, and it's apparently just a device that lets you stream digital content to your phone. Basically, the songs and videos themselves aren't even included in the device; every time you access them, you stream them from Plug Air's cloud. You also need their app, which is only available for iPhones and Android, to make any use of it.

But, according to Ayu's official website, this content will only be available until March 31, 2015. So, basically, you're paying $25 to stream one song, one remix, and two-three videos for six months. After that, it's a paperweight.

Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.

omg, thank you I almost think of buying it

tokyoxjapanxfan 11th September 2014 03:12 AM

This might be the first release I don't buy in 10 years. *sigh*

brener 11th September 2014 03:34 AM

@orangeakira now you have one more pastel toned cover to add to your signature ^^

Jwiz 11th September 2014 06:35 AM

Nice cover, but it clearly does not match the song :/

I don't know, there's this "i don't care" feeling about this era somehow. I just need this to be over already lol Nothing makes sense somehow.

ANd while now i can tolerate Terminal as a song, i still find it way too dragy and borring.

mmh, I concur.

While the picture of the single is nice, it certainly does not fit the song :(
Also, I hate how her head is cut off.

ayu_ready? 11th September 2014 09:02 AM

the only thing I like about this release is the cover. other than that, it is such a pointless release

Agreed. NOT a great value. Why would you pay $25 for ONLY SIX MONTHS of access??? :eviltongu

Earth_maiden 11th September 2014 12:52 PM

I'm sure I'll find it for 105 yen in Book Off in Shibuya when I go there in December, so I can wait til then. :D
