I really hope the cover art is dramatic. If she does "A simple Ayu" again, I think people might go bonkers but then be like "ok she looks hot, but WHY".

I don't get why people were overreacting so much over that blurred picture of hers. I'm glad it's for a magazine but nowadays I don't expect anything "edgy" from her albums and singles cover arts. I'm glad if she surprises me, but I don't set my expectations too high...

Yes and Ayumi is really the kind of person who works on feeling so all depend of her moods at the moment and what she want to convey ... I mean people always complain for her not being enough edgy anymore but If the album consist of mostly soft/calm songs with a lof of ballads I don't expect something crazy O_o Ayu is consistent with what she want to convey !
This time it's quite difficult we don't have any hint of what she is working on ... we don't even get a single that could let us guessing the general atmosphere !

But the fact that you're using the Tenso address already proves that you live overseas. Tenso does not ship to Japanese addresses and TA/mu-mo knows what's a Tenso address and that they belong to international fans...

I believe the next tour will be set around her legacy (she and her work being what was made in Japan) and that the next album may have a different image than the 70's anime kindergarden teacher she is setting right now. She seens to be making a effort to fit current trends and to be more palatable to the general public.

You know, I just believe that when Ayu's happy in the music she makes and performances she gives and clothes that she wears - I'll be happy. I may not like it but... I prefer it that way. Rather her going with her feelings doing what makes her happy than going with someone else's feelings trying to make them happy.

Back to that that covershoot... from that one blurred picture, it looks boring. But I haven't seen it yet so I'll bit my tounge! :ytongue

She is a musician and a performer... Finding balance between pleasing herself and giving the audience what they want is part of the process^^

She doesn't seen to be disliking her releases or anything like that.
