I agree with you. Even myself, i pretty much listen to Namie only since the retirement news. I even start to enjoy her most recent songs, i was not a fan of them before the Best of announcement. She definitely knows how to create a hype :rolleyes

THE NEW VERSION OF DR IS AMAZING.

Overall I think the first disc benefits most from the new recordings. The whole thing is great though, so many amazing songs AND she has more than what's on Finally too. Really reminds you of how solid Namie's music is.

that song where namie sings about being sick and tired of people mocking her for using short skirts and boots, and she is stating age is nothing for her. You know, the one she sings "I can't hear this damn age"

And it's about a girl who became a human bean? I think I know that one! :laugh

This is amazing and almost unbelievable. It really shows how much Japan is going to miss her... they're all buying Finally like it's water.

From the small clip I've heard it's not grabbing me yet although I am so happy we have one last TK song. I hope I enjoy it more than Can You Feel This Love as that song is a bit of a racket for me.

I think a song in the vein of Do It Again would have been good for Namie's final TK tune.

I feel more and more annoyed that Love 2000 and Wishing on the Same Star aren't included. :(

I think Style needed more representation and I'm disappointed that Love 2000 wasn't included either. Although I'm glad my favourite Namie song (up there with Whisper) I Have Never Seen was included! (I prefer the album version to the single mix though so look forward to hearing the Finally ver).

Does anyone here have that picture of hers with the flower wall? I'd like to use it as the cover for the BEST, not a fan of the one that came with the files.

Also, heard WMWM and WAF and I didn't find it terrible like you guys, just mediocre, like most of the re-recordings I listened so far.

I'm still trying to find a re-recording that is better than the original, but no luck so far.

Disc 2 is also my least liked. It's fun to have alternative versions of those songs but I much prefer the original versions. I don't think I will listen to the Finally versions very often. Disc 1 benefits a lot more but I think we knew that would be the case.
I love the new songs too. I can't stop singing Do it for love. It's completely stuck in my head for days now.:tipsy

As far as re-recordings go, they're nice extras to have, so no complaints from me. I'm seeing a lot of complaints about WANT ME, WANT ME, but I think that song's skippable in any incarnation lol.

Just got done listening to the new songs and I would say my favorites are Hope, How do you feel now?, and Finally. Do It For Love is okay.

Showtime sounds so much like a Kana Nishino b-side/album track to me that I started visualizing how the song would sound with Kana's voice. To be honest though, I think I'd like the song more if it was a Kana song. As a Namie song, it's meh.

Don't really care for In Two, I think it's the worst song of the bunch.

So I definitely need to get my hands on the other posters that were released if anyone ends up selling them. It's crazy what some of her posters are being sold for on ebay already....I saw a BF poster for around $50 like wtf?!?!
