Do Fanclub tickets always grant better places? I really don't want to go and be at the end of the stadium. I'd rather watch it on my couch than to see her from so far... And do general lottery can get me a good seat in a place so huge as the Tokyo dome?
|
Naw, fanclub just guarantee you an earlier chance to apply. You can still get really bad seats. (When I went to her tour in 2014, I was in the very very back and couldn't really see anything...)

DOCOMO BALLOT: https://ticket.tickebo.jp/namieamuro2018tour-did |
I won 2 tickets for one of the May Tokyo performances! I didn't get the finale date, where I applied for 3 tickets. I'm really bummed because I would LOVE to see the last show, as I'm sure it'll be extra special. But overall, I'm still really pleased I won anything at all!

Isnīt the tickebo Lottery only for the codes from Finally Album?

By the way, hopefully someone will do a full translation of that interview; I just don't have the time these days to dedicate myself to that. But she does indeed confirm (in a roundabout way) that she was originally going to retire around her 20th. She doesn't really say why that didn't happen though. But that it was decided after the 20th anniversary that she would be retiring on her 25th. It never really goes into any behind the scenes record company things or the rumor about her super long contract with Avex etc., nor does it talk about her mother's death. It's also why she did the 88 shows in smaller cities, halls, etc., last year because she wanted to get that chance knowing that her last tour would all be in domes and big cities. She said the reason she stopped doing TV appearances is because she always felt the pressure to have something interesting to say or to be funny and that she grew tired of that. While I do think that's partially true becuase she never looked all that comfortable talking on camera, I don't totally buy it though because you can always just do prerecorded performances without having to talk (which is what she did the last year or two she was on tv). She also said the same thing for having no MCs in her concerts. That if you perform in a city 20 times, you need to come up with 20 different things to say each year and doesn't that get boring and repetitive? That it feels forced and not natural and that she doesn't have that many interesting things about herself to talk about. I'm totally with her on this one; never cared about MC sections of any artist that I like. I always loved that Namie had no MCs. :) Also, another interesting tidbit, she wrote Say the Word for her and her son. |

I still have a voucher left if needed. |
Finally getting round to posting my Finally thoughts!
Like everyone else, Disc 1 is my favourite. I had only heard Try Me and Taiyou no Season from the Super Monkeys before and it wasn't my style of music at all. In fact, I preferred to forget that part of her career existed lol! Now, however, I am really enjoying Try Me & Aishite Muscat. I love the small differences you can hear in the other songs. I even love I Have Never Seen despite it sounding more like the single version as opposed to the superior album version. Disc 2 I didn't enjoy as much. I prefer the Love Enhanced version of Say the Word so the new version didn't do that much for me as it's closer to the single version. (It's just too Noughties for me!) I Will is disappointing - it's missing something and the "I will, I will" grates on me at the end. Baby Don't Cry, Dr and Break It are all great though. I've only heard this disc and disc 3 once so far so they definitely need another listen. It's also great to hear So Crazy - wish Style got more representation although I'm sure Avex could well release a Complete Best in the future. I love In Two and How Do You Feel Now and the new version of Fight Together although I find Contrail is lacking the "oomph" the original had. I've still to watch the PVs and can't wait! |

From my past experience with LIVEGENIC & ticketboard you'll receive another email later (not sure if it's with the tickets) on your seat allocation. |
