Why do TV programs refer to Nobody as the "comeback" single? It's not like Wonder Girls ever left or died down in popularity.

(They really do need to work on their lives though.)

I think in Korean music industry, whenever people release a new single/mini-album after a while, they call it a "comeback" regardless if their popularity died. A lot of artists' songs are called "comebacks" even though they really aren't, I think it's just a cultural thing.

It\'s not a marketing ploy.

"Come back single" sounds so much better than "new single." "Come back" makes the listener feel like it's been a long time since they've gotten new material even though it's not always the case(like with Nobody here), and therefore, they're more likely to eat it up.

Whenever an artist comes back with a single or album it's considered a comeback. It doesn't matter the time span, 'cause I remember last year SNSD shortly released their first album after their single, Into the New World and it was considered as a comeback.

I don't like them performing the ballad version :X
