I recorded the Wendy Williams show and watched it for them. I don't normally watch her, but I was like "Whaaaaaaaaaat" when I knew they were going to be on. I thought their performance was really good! Good for them, they've gotten some of the best exposure of Korean artists in America. =]

Hopefully, but apparently the airing didn't do much impact on their sales on Itunes. :( So even though they got on tv, it wasn't all that helpful. Maybe the airing on BET will change that.

ladytaboo 21st July 2009 08:13 AM

I just saw them on BET. They all looked great and sounded good too. I'm so freaking proud of them!

ayuayu798 21st July 2009 01:57 PM

WHAT!!! They were on BET!!! Aw man I missed it! :(

minna 23rd July 2009 03:17 AM

hyuna was looking for more attention talking about the wonder girls on star golden bell and said this:

Quote:

"In the beginning, I was hurt and uncomfortable when the Wonder Girls became successful. It was a new feeling that there was someone new in my place. However, as time passed, I became more comfortable with it."
:laugh

Kaiouforever 26th July 2009 11:16 PM

Lol @ her pathetic jealousy.

She belongs in that cruddy lastminute group

ka♡ri. 27th July 2009 12:17 AM

she's definitely looking for attention when the MC asked the question to her and she didn't bring it up herself. :yes
and her group is definitely cruddy and she's definitely pathetic because their song has been at the top of music charts for a month, they've won an award and are being recognized and gaining more endorsements than other groups. :yes

totally. :yes

anyways, this is the WG thread. not 4minute. :D

i want WG on US TV more! and i totally want to hear them on the radio! :weep i can't wait until english Tell Me comes out soon.

waterballoon 27th July 2009 05:18 AM

I have a performance this Sunday and I (and my whole band) will be playing Nobody as one of the songs! I play the trumpet so I actually play the whole chorus! I'm so excited, Nobody is such a catchy song!

^Uh.
1. Who really listens to Radio Disney :roflmao
2. I dont really watch Wonder Girls but I saw their MTVIggy performance of Tell Me and it was pretty bad. Didnt watch the other song yet. That's not to say the recorded version of the song isn't good. It's quite catchy!

norain 1st August 2009 02:20 AM

^^^

a CRAP TON of LITTLE...GIRLS. Haha. Indeed. The kid market is what drives a lot of people; so yeah! Don't forget!

Polyrhythm 1st August 2009 02:24 AM

^Oh I'm sorry. I forgot about our population of litte girls. I thought they were all still going googoogaga over "artists" like Hannah-tanna and that Jonas thing. I dunno. Well, hope the Wonder Girls can get their attention...

Beauty4123 1st August 2009 02:33 AM

wonder girls are too good for radio disney, lol. but hey, promotion. :P

minna 1st August 2009 02:58 AM

I don't get the voting thing, can somebody explain it to me?
I don't have disney radio here lol

well this is still promotion. I hope this will help them :)

norain 1st August 2009 03:49 AM

The voting process goes like this: On August 1st at 11AM Pacific Time, you have 30 minutes to vote for them whether you should PICK (keep) or KICK them. There is only 30 minutes to vote. So vote PICK! And more exposure = more fame = worldwide success = Nobody at number 1! Hahahaa.

Polyrhythm 1st August 2009 04:29 AM

Well...what are the chances that...the AHSers...who happen to come to this thread...happen to live in the U.S...and then happen to actually listen to Radio Disney at 11 AM PST on August 1st...will happen to vote PICK them @_@.

okay I understand now. thanks :)
so you vote on the website I guess?
well if you can vote even if you are not living in the US
I'll try to vote~

edit: I'm always looking on google news to see if there are reviews of their performances and what is going on

there are "reviews" but there's no point in posting them here, I think.
tbh they are never good reviews...:(
I hate seeing that.

I found that (it was post on july 30th)
http://www.kctv5.com/entertainment/20223750/detail.html

they say Nobody sounds a lot like the pussycat dolls
uhm. what? LOL

Beauty4123 1st August 2009 06:50 PM

i think so hot is more pussycat dolls-ish, as far as the type of music goes. but nobody? :rolleyes i hate these haters, lol.

Sundae 1st August 2009 08:08 PM

Pussycat dolls??? Nobody??? I don't know how to spin that one to make any kind of sense.

I can't say I exactly like the idea of them being lumped in with the Disney crowd. I know it's a fast way of getting attention but they'll won't be able to shake that tween stigma. Hannah Montana has great sales but she isn't mainstream America as she is mainstream tween.
