the time when I'm not in SF. wonderful. okay breathe...okay...gotta come up with a plan to get up there for that...and then come back by the 23rd... so i could go for one week...and then come back that other weekend... *conspires* Is there any news about how they are doing this event? Is it going to be by email too like the Sephora? |
So I'm watching "Taking The Stage" on MTV and you know how on "The Hills" they'll play a song coming back from a commercial or in the middle transitioning between scenes or going into a commercial?
Well Utada's "Come Back To Me" just was used like that in "Taking The Stage"! I got all excited. Still am. These 2 kids who are in a weak relationship who'll break up any moment now were talking and Utada came in the background singing the chorus right after the bridge "Baby Come Back To Me" and then they parted ways looking back at each other and Utada came in louder with, "Baby Come Back To Me!", with the "La La La La"'s in the background of the chorus towards the end and you could hear it perfectly and then it faded away to commercial. It was so appropriate for the scene. Finally. May not be radio, but it's my first time hearing the song somewhere else other than my iTunes, iPod or streamed online somewhere. |
^MTV? As in THE MTV not one of those little spinoff channels? WHOA THATS BIG...whats all the hype about The Hills anyway x_x Its so obvious that the show is scripted....random....I was in the car with my family going to target last weekend an an airplane was drawing the message "Spencer Loves Heidi" in the sky and I was just like....lol...its everywhere...

these things always happen when i'm not watching MTV :laugh i'm sure the repeat will be on later tonight, though. then i'll tape it :P or on the weekend, lol. but i'm so happy that utada finally got played (somewhat) on MTV :cool

OMG I just heard CBTM on the MTV show!!!! Its so weird hearing a song by someone like Utada on a MTV show...thats MAJOR! Utada!!!!! I watched a crappy scripted, cheesey, vomit-inducing romance-reality show hybrid all for you! K now changing channels
