Ahh I see that in the 15.4% episode of Himitsu no Arashi, the guest was Sanma. That explains the huge jump in the ratings - that's probably the most high profile guest they have ever had.

I was also thinking about "The Quiz Show", but kept my post short. lol And perhaps "Ryuusei no Kizuna"? I haven't seen either, but just reading about them both seem quite serious. I guess people will agree that something like "Jidai" wouldn't have been fitting for "Hana yori Dango" or "MY GIRL", but something edgier would have fit the formerly mentioned dramas.

That said, maybe JE is waiting for reactions for "Tokei jikake no UMBRELLA". With "All the BEST!" their recently gained listeners could get an overview of their work. So maybe the singles will become less safe and we will get something like "Attack it!" or "Tokei jikake no UMBRELLA" as an A-Side.

I don't understand what's so bad about that boat. It's not like it's always the same. Maybe because seaweed grows in water, they think it will float on water? lol

^ I love it. It has a very untraditional structure to it so it is kind of unique as a pop song. It ended up being shorter than I expected though.

I think the chorus is a little weak. Would be better if it kept the feeling of the verses. But nevertheless it's a really good song. ^^

ahhh, finally. "Tokei Jikake no Umbrella" is the song i've been waiting for a while from the guys. it's just so refreshing! :) i think the only flaw in it is the transition to sakurap. the flow to it could've been better, but otherwise, perfect song. i actually want to repeat this song for enjoyment, not because i need to remember what it sounds like. LOL.

if it was longer, i think it'd just drag on and be repetitive. plus, i'm not that surprised it's so short because it's just a b-side, and the drama it's for is only like..4 episodes? i dunno the exact number, but it's a mini-drama, lol. so the short-ness of it makes sense in my way of thinking...:tipsy i still love it!

That's what I thought too, mainly because the Sakurap comes so early in the song. Like I said, its an abnormal structure for them - Sakurap takes up basically the whole middle section. But I like that it has such a different structure though. :)
