yay <3 I thought I wouldn't be able to get it next week as the album was shipped out to me on Mon

when my sister texted me that it came today , I was surprised yet happy

I still don't like the album cover but I like the artwork inside for being so Victorian & old school inspired :)

Same here. Funny thing, this order I just received today was shipped on September 26th,(so wasnt TOO bad) but I still have items I'm waiting for that goes back as far as September 6th.

Well the order that says it was shipped today is from CDJ, but i took advantage of their short free shipping promotion and took Free EMS shipping, so hopefully at least that one will show up quite quickly. Seriously though, I've gotten practically stressed out over the lousy service from Canada Post lately. They keep charging us more and such, but they cant even do their jobs.

It's been over a month since I got anything but today I received this... :)

Nakano Sayuri - Mitsukete [Mini Album]*

Debut mini album from Osaka indie artist Nakano Sayuri.

Overall it's an impressive debut. It's got a confident, relaxed pop sound similar to Satomi Takasugi except without the traditional instruments. It's notable to mention that Sayuri co-produced the whole thing and wrote the music and lyrics for the title track and that aside from one cover song, "Swallowtail Butterfly ~Ai no Uta~" (which is also being covered by Koda Kumi on her ETERNITY ~Love & Songs~ album), Sayuri also wrote the lyrics for the rest of the songs.

A lot of pop singers do write their own lyrics, and it is commendable, but not a lot of them take on production responsibilities which I think is perhaps a disadvantage in artistic terms. Production is where a lot of the creative decisions are made and it could only benefit an singer's development to be involved with that. With Nakano Sayuri being a part of the production process I am very interested to see how she develops in the future and am looking forward to supporting her and her future releases. :yes

*Note the obi: her hair is so awesome that it has to be on the obi too! :D

I knew I recognized that CD somewhere...then I realized it's the one with the girl's hair still appearing on the OBI even though she's nowhere near the edge haha.

I was surprised that the book's quite small & compact :O but this means scanning it will not be a problem ahaha 8D

I will be preordering all 3 editions of BREAKERZ's BUNNY LOVE / REAL LOVE 2010 single in due time via HMV Japan 8D & that goes for ordering the fanclub CD + DVD edition of the single too as the live footages from the DVD is something that I'm after which it's not released on major online CD shops
