Erm, anyone who would be interested in buying an Ayu CD would know it's out.
There's so many bad things going against this release and not many good things going for it.

Besides, personally I think this album is selling more than it deserves. It's pretty awful.

I was referring more to the casual listeners/buyers, because it's obvious most fans if not all of them would know :P

Ayu should never stray from mainstream J-pop if she is out for sales, since she did that her sales have just been dropping. xD PQ is the most extreme form of doing that so far.

I'll be happy with #2 weekly and at least 100,000. I guessed around 150,000 overall anyway.

I just hope that next weeks with the promotion,the sales are better

in any case, just delayed promotion

As long as it sells more than JAPONESQUE first week...lol (not trying to start a war, I love both artists, but in my eyes, Ayu is the queen and Kumi is a princess.)

She is 13k away I think... it might not happen...
I just hope because of the horrible sales (first week) this just promotes Ayumi to quickly follow up with some singles and an album at the end of the year...

i just want Ayu to get number one even just for one day..

if Party Queen was released in April , at least it still might have a chance in getting #1

mid & end of March are not really the best time to put out an album & without any promotion in pushing the album & getting the word out to get people to buy it

I'm sure certain lessons will be learnt from this experience & hopefully the same thing will not happen again in ayumi's next release :O

I think a weekend boost is typical, just hope that it's enough to surpass 100k.

eh ? they don't necessary need to rely soley on ayumi's sales in order to polish up their financial report

they have other profitable artistes in the company such as most recently when EXILE sold 246,935 of their LIVE TOUR 2011 TOWER OF WISH ~Negai no Tou~ DVD in the 1st week of release while EXILE JAPAN / Solo is currently the best selling album of the year :O

And now with the state that Party Queen been selling , I think they rather take/account for ABC's 2012 album sales & also probably soon to be released Kis-My-Ft2's debut album Kis-My-1st which will drop next Wed

It's too late. No way she'll get #1...but unlike four years ago, I don't care. I'm fine right now with how she is doing her best in sales.

actually March has been kinda lukewarm sales for albums

she could have released last week, that would have been a super easy one
or the week before

but I think avex knew she wouldn't get first, I think ABC snatching first won't come as a surprise to them at all

so I guess they don't care which is weird because the moved the release date earlier for Kuu so she would get first and not face Ayaka comeback
and in this case it is two label mates so it could have been easier to make one of them release it earlier
