Judging by the last Instagram post, it seems we’re getting something for summer, whether it’s a single, a concert or a-nation.

Aderianu 25th April 2022 02:22 PM

For me it looks like she going to include summer songs in the next setlists

Seems there’s a rumor that Barbie (Mattel) might have come after Ayu for using the Barbie inspired logo, the goods featuring the logo disappeared from Mumo and they weren’t sold at the tour dates?

Katsuyuki012 25th April 2022 09:50 PM

^Oh god... That's not good. :(

EDIT: Wait, I just had a realization! The Barbie logo was only for the anniversary show and the Kobe shows are part of the Asia Tour! The Barbie-Ayu stuff was 24th exclusive and that's why it's gone now.

EDIT 2: All post containing the logo have been deleted, though, so maybe it is a legal issue after all...

It's unfortunate, but as long as it doesn't cause any problems for the DVD release, I'll be fine.

Aderianu 26th April 2022 10:50 AM

How come they didn't think about such things before?

Maybe it's supposed to be hidden advertisement for Barbie, but someone didn't complete all the agreements?

Toniayu123 26th April 2022 11:49 AM

It amazes me how unprofessional her team is most of the time. Considering she’s a big act in Japan, did they expect it to pass unnoticed? The logo is a complete rip off. Thing is that it could actually have been a good collaboration between Avex/Ayu and Barbie If they settled things professionally beforehand (I think we all thought it kinda was btw).

You actually could be right in regards to it only being for the Pia live. Although the fact that they were deleted all together instead of just “sold out” is…interesting.

I suppose we won’t get any clarification of it haha, but it wouldn’t particularly surprise me if it was a copyright infringement. In any case, it’s just a rumor at this point :-p

I am pretty sure it´s copyright related, if you go to Goods overview section on her official site the towels and hoodies disappeared

I was wondering, is Asia tour still going to happen?

They don't like it when others use there stuff. They hated Aqua for Barbie Girl lol. If ayu used the word barbie, that would of been the thing :P

If she prolongs it as much as Trouble Tour then it may happen at some point.

//ABEST 22nd July 2022 06:40 AM

I think she should have waited until 25th Anniversary to make a new ASIA TOUR but oh well.. I don't see her going abroud in 2022 since there's no info about this and covid is getting worse again. :no That is kinda awkward if her tour is called ASIA TOUR yet she only performs on Japan and also if she extends it to 2023.

ASIA TOUR 2021-2022 + 2023 25th Anniversary ~23rd Monster~

You rip what you sow. They were overly confident and now have to deal with consequences.

ayu_fantasy 25th July 2022 02:15 PM

The name asia tour was announced like since April last year rite?

Aderianu 2nd October 2022 10:48 AM

The "ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2021-2022 A ~23rd Monster~" in Aichi was cancelled last year, but an additional show will be held in place of the Aichi show

I think we assume that they'll scrap the ASIA TOUR idea and conclude the cycle with Japan-only shows or will they rename the tour to ASIA TOUR 2021-2023?

awkward but most likely what they're gonna do.. her career has had it's fair share of avex's unprofessionlism for years now :tired for me it started from sixxxxxx with Bilieve in Sayonara MV.

I don't think it's a case of unprofessionalism this time. When they saw the movement of the world and China itself regarding Covid-19, they believed that it could be the right time to do shows there. At the time, by the way, concerts in Taiwan and some Chinese cities were happening more often and with less restrictions than in Japan. The problem came later, when cases of Covid emerged and the installation of China's Covid zero policy, which ended any plans by Avex to book concerts there. It was a hasty move, a miscalculation, but I think it's a common mistake in the music business.
