well, it's good to see her as a solo artist.. she has her own style, i love it and i always enjoy watching her live performance

i don't like MM.. (and i'm glad Kuu was rejected)
IMO, all of MM members have same character, cute & innocent, that's all;
in addition, i don't see that they can really sing *no offense for MM fans*

I'm also delighted she did not follow the herd and become accepted in MM. To be candid, I cannot stand their music for the life of me.

I listened to the Alive preview. It made me teary eyed. It's the first Kuu ballad since Yume no Uta and you that has made me feel like that. Every ballad that was released after that never made me feel so emotional after my first listening to the song. Kuu sounds so awesome. It reminds me of the alternate orchestral version of 1000 no Kotoba actually. I felt so nostalgic. :D I really am gonna love the new ballad song. The movie looked so cool too. Maybe I'm going to watch it too. <3

I also realized again why I love Kuu so much. She's so cool. She has awesome voice, awesome concerts, lyrics and the hyperly energized image or that's what it looks like. She tries out new things that Ayu doesn't do anymore and I like it how artists surprises me. I also respect her a lot. She has gone through a hell to get where she is and she really deserves everything she gets. And most of all, she surely IS my favourite j-pop artist and will always be my queen of j-pop. <3

Someone asked somewhere if there's someone else who likes Always instrumental (I don't remember who it was or how far away but anyhoo). I personally love it. It's so cool and beautiful. <3

I also got this strange urge to watch Black Cherry final in Tokyo Dome concert. That's a hell of a amazing perfomance. *drool*

Reading how Max and avex treated her like **** I just want to give Kuu a hug... that was kind of mean... and I don't understand how she's 'fat' and 'ugly' when she doesn't look like that in the audition video for MM.

And Kuu is just awesome... all the cheesing/grinning, happy-go-lucky lyrics, squeals and everything... I love them all. She's an awesome woman and I'm just glad I get to listen to her songs.

I think Max deserves credit for Kuu's career now. If it weren't for his harshness, she may not have reached this level

Do you mean - Ayu doesn't do anymore the things that Koda does, or you mean she doesn't do anything new anymore?
Because I can agree with the first one, Ayu and Koda are too different and I like both of them, Koda is for fun, they sing about different things, but the second one is just a nonsense.

Kuu seems content in life right now~ She really did work hard and didn't let people's words get to her. She did what she wanted and got to the top~ We Love You Kuu<3

I think Max, like most humans, start to "like" Kuu after how she has tons of fans and is actually popular and all now. Prolly the avex staff who couldn't be bothered to give her back chocs on that Valentine's Day are fighting to give chocs to her every day.

Well, since you don't know MM you shouldn't judge them. Because, no, they are not all cute & innocent and alike. In fact, they (all 25 of them) are all so different personality-wise. Mari is hyper/crazy, Yuko is the mean one, Eri is the shy one, Yossie is the tomboy one, Miki is the careless one, Ai is the boring one (LOL), Reina is the badgirl, Rika is the kawaii one, Sayu is the kawaii wannabe, Maki is the cool one...

And yes, some may not have great singing abilities (some even seriously suck), but at least half of them sing way better than say... Ayu. IMO.

But anyway, I'm also glad Koda is a solo artist. Her charisma on stage is hard to beat.
