Yes, the drawings in For You (the cars) and TIME LIMIT (that monkey face :handshake) were by hikki's hand :D.

That's so cool. I never knew that. I think I appreciate the cover for that single a lot more now. Before, I just thought that they got lazy or something.

JackieRos 21st August 2009 07:52 PM

aha yep

Polyrhythm 22nd August 2009 07:46 AM

9歳の想い出 came out in Japan already....doesnt look like it charted...

mcluva420 22nd August 2009 08:03 AM

^ did anyone buy it or anything? :shrug

Polyrhythm 22nd August 2009 08:05 AM

^Well no offense...I'm like a crazy Utada fan but...

1.) It's a re-release from a relic of an album
2.) Cover was made by a 4th grader Utada >_>
3.) Its just a really overall sloppy attempt at making some quick money

I wouldnt buy it either to be honest...

mcluva420 22nd August 2009 08:11 AM

so its not a re-sing? >__>

Sundae 22nd August 2009 08:32 AM

No. Utada's not with them anymore. I don't think her mother is with them anymore.

On the contrary, what she needs least is to be a star in the U.S. She'll have to deal with both an American and a Japanese career, go to events and stuff, and be harassed by the paparazzi. And the tabloids will write stuff about the Asian chick with the dirty lyrics. She has all the money in the world. The last thing she needs is a successful U.S career. To be honest, its more what we want,as fans, an not what she needs :(. Oh and btw, I don't understand what you're trying to point out by quoting the radio charts. The single hasn't even been announced yet. It shouldn't even be getting radio spins.

EDIT: Video of Utada Meet + Greet in Hawaii (54 minutes)

Quote:

CharlieBoy808 has posted a video of the full meet and greet that Utada participated in back in July. The clip has a few interesting tidbits, including her desire to release a cover album and her interest in collaborating with Kanye West. The video also includes an impromptu acapella rendition of Biggie’s “Hypnotize.”

Wow...she looks so great...healthy...and this is also the first time she's publicly talked about her sickness (?). So they rescheduled the Hawaii event...will the others follow? I dunno...

LMAO! HIKKI!!!! "Crazy? Or Dangerous" :laugh

I'm glad that she acknowledges MJ's death...but...

"I had to have a cigarette."
WHAT THE FRICK?!!!!??? :weep :thud

For all you wondering...that's what happened to her voice...not a ton of live performances like we thought (cause obviously, those dont happen that often...)

I like her defense...its like "no no! I dont smoke cigarettes! I just had one when MJ died. It just happened to be lying around" :laugh

Considering what she said on some Exodus interviews, an American career would do wonders for her as an artist...

Doesn't a lot of time lapse between releases? Like between Deep River and Ultra Blue 4 years passed, and then 2 for Heart Station (I think?)... So maybe it'll be a while before something new I guess.

I recently bought the song Automatic, it's so cute. I don't have much of her stuff, I've only boughten like 15 songs and the This is the One album. I want to get her single collection...

Meat Pao 23rd August 2009 07:10 AM

^ You should. Singles Collection Vol. 1 is <3

Lady~Deviance 23rd August 2009 11:37 PM

I'll be honest and say at first I found it almost exasperating that she had yet to release new material. But now I've simmered down and kept in mind that she often takes years in between new releases. I just hope 2010 will be a bright and new year for year.

JackieRos 25th August 2009 10:23 PM

wait is this real?
