Shota doesn't appear in the clip . Aside from that , stay sounds nice

This video is... unexpected. I like it though, Stay is one of my favorite tracks from Lonely Angel, it's a really good ballad.

Aoyama Thelma unleashes short PV for 'stay feat. Shimizu Shota'



Aoyama Thelma has unleashed the short PV for her song "stay feat. Shimizu Shota" which will be included in her mini-album "GRAY SMOKE" to be released on September 16.

"stay feat. Shimizu Shota" is a ballad number with sex appeal oozing out of the lyrics and the singers' voices. Regarding the song, Aoyama stated, "Because I was collaborating with Shimizu Shota-san, I wanted to make it a song that would reverberate our voices. I think it's a song that unites everything, including our peculiar voices, and simple yet dramatic sounds."

Meanwhile, Shimizu said, "We created this song aiming for it to be the top ballad. Thelma-san is also good at singing the low keys, so I was able to produce this song no different from my own songs."

The concept of "GRAY SMOKE" is Thelma's image of "man". As such, she only collaborated with male artists. Besides Shimizu, she worked with ANARCHY, SWAY (DOBERMAN INFINITY), and Furuya Kenji (Dragon Ash).

GRAY SMOKE has already leaked & I've listened to the songs in 1 shot

So far , the song/collaboration that stood out is definitely stay . The short PV preview frankly doesn't do justice to the full song & Aoyama + Shota's voice are in synch with each other

Solo track wise , I like Ichiban Aishita Hito . I need to listen to the other 4songs a bit more but GOD'S CHILDREN Feat ANARCHY is not bad

I like the first two songs on Gray Smoke EP or mini-album or whatever it is, but the rest is just ... well, boring. No real jem on this album.

As for GRAY SMOKE , surprisingly up to now after listening to the songs a few more times , some still don't stand out to me although I do think that Aoyama & Shota should consider to work on another song together in the near future
