I honestly think its Kuu herself. She's shown she's athletic and flexible. Like, I would put money on stunt double in Lollipop video for riding a horse, but something strictly physical I could see Kuu doing herself.

Okay, I finally listened to Like It lol. It's not bad. I mean technically it might be bad, idk or care, but I feel like it's a grower for sure. Kinda like VIP.

Much better than the demos and title track for me for now though.

One of the reasons why I got into Kuu in the first place was because she wasn't Ayu. I was just about getting annoyed with Ayu's music (I listened too much, lol) and needed a break. kuu was the perfect escape but I also got stuck because her urban pop/R&B is the best shit I've ever heard from a Japanese artist. I love the direction she's going too, because I was alittle bit scared that she's going to start making dance music like Namie does. I have never seen Kuu has a dancepop artist. She has always been the R&B/Urban queen as Namie is the queen of dancepop to me.

Also, I must be the only one here but in my eyes there has never been anything Ayuish in the way Kuu performs, in her fashion style, in her music videos or in her music. Ayu has a different atmosphere in every song she releases, and therefore I can't understand these comparisions at all. :') I have seen some people even calling Kuu a Ayu copycat because Kuu sings "Maria" in This is not a love song. Like, seriously? :'D But anyhoo, I'm not here to argue. Just wanted to let this out. I wanna watch Futurama instead.

As for Like It and WALK OF MY LIFE PVs, I loved them both. And songs as well. Like It had to grow on me for a moment, but it's awesome, fresh and catchy. Like MONEY IN MY BAG is. WALK OF MY LIFE is very beautiful. I love songs like this. :) I'm really excited for the album, and I'm gonna listen to it like crazy when it's released. :heart

I agree, I'm pretty sure she's doing the stunts herself.
She's done that backflip she shows in the video already in several tours on stage.

I know I should be dying for more songs previews, but I'm soooo anxious for the photo book! I'll try to keep me from scans and see them all when my copies arrive

Gustavopc 3rd March 2015 09:29 PM

If this means lots of upbeat songs, I'd die of happiness.

Kumi is serving a reverse warholian experience. Obviously this album is like this because each song reflects a period in her life, and the lengths of the songs reflect how long each part of her life is. 'Money in my bag' is the shortest because that's th phase of kumi's life she grew out fastest. Panhandling/stealing isn't the best way to get money. She also didn't 'like it' because kumi knows good sex and knows when she doesn't get it like she wants it. But in the end her 'life so good' and she knows that.
I wonder if the tracklist reflects each part of her life how it happened sequentially. Or maybe because all her tracklists are messes, this tracklist is the epitome of mess. She's trying to say that life is all over the place but that's the walk of her life. In the end Kumi Kehova's metaphor knows no artistic bounds.

Ashen Twilight 3rd March 2015 10:09 PM

She could have a ballad in there somewhere! Candle Light was only 3:17 and milk tea was even shorter at 2:36

This actually worries me lol. Not that I listen to Kuu for her ballads at all, but I had this problem with Bon Voyage. It had plenty of fun songs, but without ballads it utterly failed as an album. It's just... one "catchy" song stacked on top of another and then the album ends without ever going anywhere lol

adantatu2 3rd March 2015 10:43 PM

I think I'm going to like this album, Kuu has some long ballads over 6 minutes O_O

thinkingoutloud89 3rd March 2015 10:49 PM

I love that the tracks are short...I love short songs and none of the already avaiable tracks should have been a second longer, yet especially DITR and WOML are grand in a way.

Surreal17 3rd March 2015 10:54 PM

I ll be contented if all those new tracks are upbeat songs. That s why I like Bon Voyage a lot. Because she finally got rid of all those boring ballads and it felt so good, like a fresh breath of air. It s not like she gave up on ballads cuz we still get them in her singles (2014 - we have Turn Around and Kimi Omoi). WOML is really enjoyable as the new ballad of the album and I hope as the only one. As for the lenght of the songs from the album, I m almost sure that Kumi isn t doing a 3 minute ballad, so yeah, not so probable to hear another one soon.
