frankly I don't think all of their singles deserved to go no.1 but some really deserved it like Anniversary , Garas no Shounen , Yamenai de, Pure , Aisareru Yori Aishitai , Velvet no Yami & etc

actually, out of all the JE music i've heard, KinKi Kids deserve their success, IMO. if i haven't heard KinKi, i would have never taken JE music seriously. o_o;;

i really like how their music is really...chill. and not that idol-like. at times, it feels like they're not idols at all when you're listening to their music. :)
