I have NO clue what to put on Western Union's money transfer slip >.> I don't know who I should put there. I asked them yesterday but they haven't replied yet.

nanakopy87 18th February 2010 02:51 AM

hmm,i thought they did send you an email about the payment
Quote:

For all non-instant payment options (ie, other than Credit Card or Paypal), an E-Mail describing the payment procedure will be sent upon checkout.
its weird if you did not receive the email.Have you check your emails including spam box?

Cherry Dynamite 18th February 2010 03:05 AM

Yeah I've checked it and yes they did send me some Payment Procedures but it doesn't say anything about Western Union.
If they don't send me an instruction by today I might as well buy somewhere else but then again I tried to find the things I ordered in YesAsia but most of them are Out of stocks >.> so yeah if they don't reply I won't be able to buy them anymore.

I ordered these btw

Namie Amuro Best Fiction Tour 2008-2009
Next Level [2CD+DVD]
A Complete-All Singles [3CD+DVD]
Secret [CD+DVD]
Arena Tour 2006 A (miss)understood [3DVD]
(miss)understood [CD+DVD]
My Story [CD+DVD]

Most of those are really difficult to find especially A Complete CD+DVD
If I'll be able to buy those, I'll complete all Ayu's Album >.> That's why I need them to send me a friggin instruction.

LacusClyne 18th February 2010 09:57 AM

^are those japan or oversea versions?

coz if you can't get them, i still see [A Complete 3CD+DVD](Oversea version) sold in singapore, i don't mind helping you to buy and send to you.
But do you use paypal?

nanakopy87 18th February 2010 11:24 AM

lacus, she couldn't use her credit card and she does not use paypal.this is why she's using western union.
by the way,did you email them ask if the a complete is still 1st press or not?because they do not update their sites if 1st press isn't available anymore.all these already 2kg?hmm,as a suggestion,i recommend you to grab a complete with arena tour 2006 and next level first(in case if they still have 1st press) and order others later on since this is your first time order from them.

I have a question for Singaporeans...

I pre-orded Tohoshinki's BEST SELECTION 2010 from CDJapan, and on Tuesday they e-mailed me that my order is in shipping already. Um then how long would it take for it to reach my house? I chose registered air mail I think... the 2nd option in the shipping methods.

If it comes on Friday or Saturday, which I won't be at home, then it means the postman can't give it to me? Then what would happen if that's the case?

Cherry Dynamite 18th February 2010 01:59 PM

Thanks everyone for your help~
I already received the instruction :D

I don't really mind if the A Complete isn't first press since I have already have A Complete 3CD~

And I bought AT 2006 Overseas version since it's a lot cheaper than Japan version.

Twinkle ! 18th February 2010 03:06 PM

@waterballon i usually heard for Singaporeans it's takes less than 5 days maybe you have to wait 2 days more maybe less :D

Cherry Dynamite 19th February 2010 11:39 AM

Aww this sucks...
I thought that they can easily confirm my order but it turns out it'll take them 2-3 friggin days just to confirm it.
I can't get it before my birthday! and I was half forced to use FedEx because they don't offer free shipping for that amount of order and I wanted to get it before my birthday!

nanakopy87 19th February 2010 12:01 PM

hmm,i don't know how the western union works but i think its like transferring money to international banks which takes several days to complete. i think yesasia and other site will be the same.

Cherry Dynamite 19th February 2010 12:29 PM

I think it's more like you'll send them the money then they'll pick it up on Western Union :O I think it works like that.
I'm not sure since this is the first time I used it.

When I ordered from them (that was back in 2008) there were no option for free shipping :no

i'm not sure if they have this option or not because my 1st purchase from play-asia was march 2009.they already have this free shipping by that time.but now, since they were having sales last 2 weeks, most of the cds i see need to pay for the shipping if the purchase is less than USD10.but i have no problem with it because the cds i bought usually is more than USD10 XD

well if the postman were to deliver to your house and no one is in, he or she will leave a note, (pushed in from your door), then you have 2 options.
1-go to the post office to collect it after the postman had send it back to the office.
2-there will be a number for you to call, so you can arrange for redelivery

waterballoon 19th February 2010 05:47 PM

^ thank you! but is it usually that long? they shipped it on Tuesday and it's gonna be Saturday but still nothing~

LacusClyne 19th February 2010 05:50 PM

^hmm..did they send you a mail that it's shiped? or it's just under 'shipping process' at cdjapan account?

but honestly speaking, if it's ship on tues, normally it will reach in 4(the earliest!!!) days to 7 days time.
so there's still one more day, it definetly won't reach you on friday.

waterballoon 19th February 2010 06:26 PM

"Dear Spencer Chong,
Thank you for shopping at CDJapan.
We shipped your order today."

that means they shipped it right? lol and oh I think I was too impatient... haha no wonder! XD thank you again Genie <3

points to what Twinkle ! said

I usually use airmail if I order stuff though CDJapan & I get my things within 4-5 working days if there're no public holidays involved from both parties's end

by the time CDJapan sent you an email to say that they shipped your order , by right they already done so 1-2 days beforehand (or so from what I was told)

waterballoon 19th February 2010 06:40 PM

oh but if they had done so 1/2 days earlier, then oh... isn't that the CNY period lol.

oh wait Japan doesn't celebrate CNY. :laugh

I guess I'll wait for a few more days...

KarenPang 19th February 2010 06:42 PM

oh sorry I didn't realised you chose registered airmail

if you're not at home then a postman will leave an invoice outside of your house or in your letter box & you have to go & collect the parcel personally at the nearest post office

personally airmail's good enough as frankly to me , you don't need to pay extra for registered airmail as SingPost's a reputable post office company

also the no. of days you take to get stuff be it airmail or registered airmail from CDJapan should be roughly about the same no. of days ie. 4-5 working days

if you're living in countries like Malaysia or something then it's better to go for it
