Does anyone feel weird that there is no news of NEXT LEVEL Tour DVD ?

There are three things we want to see..
(1) NEXT LEVEL Tour DVD
(2) CDL ~Future Classic ~ DVD
(3) New album

Wow... what happens to ayu?

True, it's like, "Who cares what you guys think?" since as a matter of fact, I really like the album/single/whatever. But I guess it's a little irritating to constantly see people putting the work down when I feel it doesn't deserve to be completely trashed on, if you know what I mean. When the normal reaction for an Ayu release from an Ayu fan forum is "Oh, next release, please." I feel like I can't just stand by and watch it, haha. Maybe I just like Ayu too much to have people constantly say that her work isn't top notch, when it is always consistently of a high quality even though not everyone is going to like it.

The information will all come out at once, I think. But Future Classics' DVD might either be bundled with the album or could be released along with AT09. Only time will tell. Nothing "happened" to Ayu, she's just been busy with album work.

Secret is the only album of hers in which I feel every song could have been on a single. Whether an A-side or a decent B-side, none of them felt like just album tracks to me. So if this album carries strong tracks like Secret did, I'll be MORE than satisfied.

I think the strength of the album tracks in Secret comes from the mini-album nature of it prior to being converted to a full length album. momentum, 1 LOVE, and JEWEL were supposedly the only album tracks (along with Secret as a likely bonus track) to be included... and it basically was like a Memorial address pt.2 when it came to each individual track's ability to stand alone. Even more amazing is that the tracks she chose to add to make the album a full length album were just as good as the initially planned tracks! So crazy, haha.

^ Oooh, I forgot about JEWEL. :headache Amazing song as well, of course. I guess what ruins Secret for me more than anything is how people exaggerate a lot of the tracks. Like, I loved kiss o' kill the first time I heard it, but it got old real fast. Yet, everybody else still finds it to be one of her best songs or something... And BLUE BIRD is totally a watered down fairyland. :( I got sick of it after the first few listens and can now only listen to it every few months, yet I've almost always been able to have fairyland on repeat. And Secret is the most overrated-underrated song, lol. (Like, everybody talks about how underrated it is, but that in itself makes it overrated! XD)

Well, actually~....... Who... is one of the very few Ayu songs I can't stand, at all. I think it's her most overrated song ever, and I honestly wish it didn't exist... And I was never big on MY ALL, either. I can stand it, and I like it to a point, but overall I find it boring. :X

Oh, and I love Bold & Delicious. ^.^' I even like Ayumi's version better than the original, which isn't the case for the rest of the sweetbox songs. :O

That's some very strange taste for a fan of Ayu... wow... -blinks-

The Sweetbox versions all really do sound like demos (MIDI'd arrangements and such) so I'd say Ayu's versions just feel richer. "What's a beautiful girl, is that all that you see?" But maybe you're not looking for that rich quality in music, I don't know... haha.

It's okay, we all have our weird tastes. I don't care for Dearest, I'd rather listen her other ballads with the exception of the horrendous teddy bear. I don't think M was all that monumental and is probably one of her most overrated songs, in fact, I didn't even bother with the original until AT07 (Above & Beyond is my jam though). I am... is probably towards the bottom as far as my favorite albums and NEXT LEVEL was the answer to my Ayu music prayers. How weird am I? xD;

I've been jammin' to B&D A LOT lately! Love that song, especially live! :D

Same for me~ I've never been a real fan of Who... and MY ALL is really just okay for me. It's one of my least favorite songs on GUILTY.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my heart just sank all the way to the ground, and it's not moving.

I completely get MY ALL since that song isn't for everyone, but... Who...!? teddy bear?! If Memorial address and untitled ~for her~ are next... omg. That's like, every song she's dedicated to someone who has left her for good in her lifetime...

I can't hate teddy bear no matter how weird her voice is in the song. The lyrics are some of her best imo. And wow, I didn't know "Who..." haters existed, interesting. I'm kind of sad she stopped singing it at the end of her concerts. I don't think I'll ever get tired of MY ALL or RED LINE though, they never fail to cheer me up.

I hope it doesn't sound like a "new oldalbum" at all... If I want to hear something she already did, I will listen to her past works...

And I never got this strange thing Ayu fans have... They are always obsessed with new releases, then, they got it, love/hate it for 2 months, say everything is already old and cry for new music x_x

I still listen to Next Level quite a lot...

You're SO right ! I mean, if this album is bad, I won't stop listening to Ayu. I've never really get why each and every new song was consistently compared with an elder one, I just want new stuff ! And as you said, I also keep on listening to NEXT LEVEL's tracks everyday !
