I dun like her vocal back then in 1990s at all but those songs are masterpiece, I would pay my all to hear her sing those songs now, with her current voice =)

eh...I can't stand 90s jpop, so, it's no surprise I don't like them.

I don't agree that they're her best songs though, and I doubt you and I would ever agree lol

I just really have issues with the generic arrangements.

^ Some of her oldies were performed in 2003 SO CRAZY Tour, and for me they all sounded so much better comparing to the orginal 90s stuido-records when her voice was like dead cat.

Well I used to dislike her old songs a lot before. But when I actually decided to try out all her older albums, they completely grew on me. I can surely say that I think SWEET 19 BLUES is one of her best albums. It took really a long time until they grew on me though, and I remember thinking "This sounds so outdated and terrible", but I know how wrong I was today. If you give it more chances, you can get to like anything, really. If nothing, that's what music has taught me.

Personally, I know anything CAN grow on me. But I really don't like it when I have to let something do that.

I prefer songs that just instantly click with me. Like YEAH-OH.
