^Well, the UP-IN-HEAVEN version of ATY is the standard version of the song, so I don't think it counts as a remix haha

I'd kill for Sunglasses, Tokyo Nights and A.S.A.P. live!

It'd certainly be better than an album full of covers of First Love! I'm hoping for a Sakura Drops cover myself!

Me too, I don't know if there is a cover of it though :confused

^I know of at least 2 covers of Sakura Drops. The first is by sister kaya, and I can't remember the second one, but it was by a girl who had a really treacly/etheral voice. I can't remember their name though.

The owner of the utada forums "hikaru.sc", k3-光, owned a website that actually had a list of every artist who ever covered an utada song, whether it be a concert song, tv performance, or studio version. they also had links to songs and videos of each. I wish I could find it.

Also is everyone forgetting (or not know) that Boys II Men covered First Love?

Going through her dvds, I was wondering which songs she hasn't performed live. So I decided to make a list. I only counted concerts (and mtv unplugged) so no music lovers, or 20 live streaming, or tv performances, or ima no watashi or any of that.

Sunglass
Drama
Eternally
Kotobani Naranai Kimochi
Play Ball
Tokyo Nights
A.S.A.P.
Nichiyou No Asa
Making Love
One Night Magic
Kairo
Wings
Fight The Blues
Heart Station
Flavor of Life
Kiss & Cry
Celebrate
Arashi no Megami
Sakura Nagashi

I think this alone would make a pretty awesome concert. I'm amazed she has so many unperformed songs considering she only has 5 japanese studio albums. I would love to see her perform the remix of Hayatochiri. Considering she performed the John Luongo remix of First Love, and the Up-In-Heaven mix of Addicted to you. I'm sure it could happen.

It still surprises me that she hasn't yet performed "Making Love."

I would love to see her in a more intimate setting, like in unplugged, and just perform her more jazz and rnb flavored songs like "Sunglasses", "Play Ball", "In My Room", "Wings", etc... Especially "Sunglasses"... Such a good song. Ugh.

it's perfect ... can't find it without subtitles in better quality! Sorry

orangeakira 30th October 2014 03:57 PM

^Yeah I didn't count that towards live performances because it's just the rehearsal scene from her "hikaru no 5" concert. If she actually performed it in the set list at the concert I'd count it as a live performance.
