I really wanted to like it though.

Forevermore is the only one that I actually remember...the rest were too plain.

I loved Oozora and Anata. Oozora reminded me of classical Hikki, like it could've been from the ULTRA BLUE or HEART STATION era, and in my opinion, Anata is the direction I wanted her to take after Fantome. It sounds very mature and I hope the whole new album makes use of the "big band" instrumentation.

Forevermore is good too but it's a little too jazzy for my tastes. Anata is my favorite of all three.

The first two were both a little plain to me at first, but the more I listened, the more they grew on me and now I absolutely love them.

Anata was love at first listen though. Reminds me of a more modern and mature version of Distance, which I love.

I loved Anata the most this year. I was a bit faltered when I read some comments here and my bro's opinion about the song a week ago (he thought hikki's vocal was too exaggerated nowadays, so he didn't like her recent releases at all, and that's including Fantome). But tonight I listened to Anata, and got mesmerized by her voice again. So I agree with amorphose that Anata is the direction I want her to take. It has the balance between natural and dynamic.

Anata is good, the rest is meh

Great news, maybe that'll stop me from listening so much to LOONA. For a while.

amorphose 8th January 2018 06:15 PM

Don't know about individual countries but she is NOT available on Spotify USA and I am seriously not happy about it. :(

Baco__ 8th January 2018 07:40 PM

Spotify USA has TITO and I seriously don't get why other countries don't.

Same lol. And Fantome was there for a hot minute and disappeared. I thought she would be added this month. Maybe later?

^With the exception of This Is The One, here in Brazil her whole catalog is available, including Fantome.

don't do it! :P jk

I'm so happy to see her albums and singles there, but I wanted her last three singles there so bad :( well, I hope she releases the album soon with them!

maybe you guys aren't finding her releases because of the tag. I found her albums searching for "ultra blue hikaru"

I just did that and nothing showed.

Apparently it's available everywhere worldwide except North America (US, Canada, Mexico) and I don't understand why. I've been trying to tweet to Spotify but they haven't answered. Neither has Hikki's staff.

I use Spotify for literally all my music now except Utada, so I was pumped for her to get added. Hopefully they add it soon. There was no issue for North America when she was added to Google Play and Apple Music. All her albums show fine for all regions on those platforms.

What the effing f*ck? TITO is an amazing album (not as close to exodus, IMHO, but I still love it hahaha)

After she made her songs available in Spotify, they're dominating Japan's Viral Charts. Today (1/11), she is occupying more than half of the entire chart: Simple and Clean (Ray of Hope Remix) (46), BLUE (45), Passion (43), This Is Love (42), HEART STATION (41), Sakuranagashi (39), Beautiful World (38), Addicted to You (37), First Love (36), In My Room (27), Flavor Of Life -Ballad Version- (26), SAKURA Drops (25), Hanataba wo Kimi ni (23), Fly Me To The Moon (2007 Mix) (21), Hikari (19), COLORS (18), Prisoner of Love (16), Automatic (15), Michi (14), Can You Keep A Secret? (13), DISTANCE (10), Stay Gold (9), Nijikan Dake no Vacance (7), Wait & See (4), traveling (3) and Flavor Of Life (2).

She's also at #49 at TOP 50 Japan with Hanataba wo Kimi ni.

Maybe she have a different label contract in the US that won't allow her music to be streamed? Don 't know :~
