I live for the ballads on Bionic. They are some of my favorites in the world. I actually don't care too much for Back to Basics.

I'd also go for Bionic if I had to pick one album between Bionic and Back to Basics

I miss that quiet fear Christina had when she released Stripped. Back then, her music was amazing because she decided to do something she wasn't sure would be anything significant to people. BTB, B, and L all suffer from the same crap attitude that's pushed Christina further down the charts and, no pun intended, stripped her of that human quality she had that other pop stars did not.

I hope this next record isn't another tired "pop diva" record where she overdoes the glam and puts up this front that she is as big as today's chart toppers... she isn't. Right now, more than ever since 2001, pop music needs a new "Stripped". We need that record that someone with Christina's talent does that doesn't sound like a "home run" but just might be.

If she can't pull that off then I'm hoping Madonna gives us another Ray of Light-type record.

I don't mean to trash talk Christina though. I'm very disappointed in how she's sold herself as *almost* a fame whore, someone who thinks they deserve to have everyone's attention just for being who they are. That's so far from the person she started out as, someone who was hellbent on not letting the music industry turn her into another Britney Spears.

Interesting point of view.
I nevee saw Xtina under this perspective. I can't fully agree with you, but I think too Stripped was special because she had this unique, tender, but at the same time confident attitude.

happiholic★ 9th May 2014 03:21 AM

I loved Stripped for the underdog vibe it gave off (and pulled off). She even says it in the interlude. All my underdogs, I feel you. It gives me shivers when she says it. Especially when I'm feeling like the world is against me. You can really tell she means it. She's been though it.

sorry for bumping up this thread...
Christina Aguilera has released a new song called Telepathy

Cahz- 11th August 2016 12:50 PM

Yup and it's an interesting song. Not the sound I expected from Xtina but I like it :)

Evan Odinson 12th August 2016 02:03 AM

I really liked this new song, I love her since I was a kid haha good to see something about her on this forum :love

Cahz- 12th August 2016 10:54 PM

My fandom stopped with Lotus release, man I was really CRAZY for her!
I got shocked because Xtina always delivered high quality work and released albums with a concept and Lotus had none of that... but I'm enjoying this track! Looking forward for her next album.

oaristos 12th August 2016 11:25 PM

I like the song, but the lyrics are extremely repetitive.

Evan Odinson 13th August 2016 12:19 AM

Lotus had some catchy songs, but it wasn't a memorable album, it was way too generic, hope she comes back with another masterpiece like Stripped or Back to Basics.

Miku 13th August 2016 12:24 AM

Stripped is my favorite album because it has my all time favorite song which is Fighter... hoping for more songs like Fighter

oaristos 20th August 2016 04:29 PM

Stripped is definitely her best record to date. It's slightly too long for my taste (like many of her albums), but most of the tracks are great.

The first single is out! Accelerate feat. Ty Dolla $ign, 2 Chainz

So different of what she has done before. The song is a grower. Already pre-ordered the album and my fandom for Xtina suddenly is reviving

tokyoxjapanxfan 3rd May 2018 03:54 PM

She looks fantastic. The song isn't my cup of tea, but it seems more like a "hype song" than a lead single... it's very on trend I guess.

Evan Odinson 3rd May 2018 07:30 PM

Queentina is back! I really liked this song and new sound, glad to see so many tracks for this album, not excited about the demi collaboration, can't stand that girl but it's ok, since it's Xtina I can make an exception lol she looks stunning on the video but it feels like a rip-off from Miley Cyrus and her dead pets :rolleyes

hud 3rd May 2018 08:00 PM

I really like the album cover and the song! it's different and interesting. definitely excited for the album as it doesn't sound it will be Lotus 2.0

also, the solo version of Fall In Line already leaked a month ago or something and it's amazing! I hope it's a single with Demi.

oaristos 3rd May 2018 10:27 PM

She looks great. I'm very excited for the album, but I didn't like "Accelerate" at all. :no

EndOfTheWorld 3rd May 2018 10:57 PM

I keep wanting her to make a good comeback for years now but, whenever she releases anything it just reminds me why I haven't been a fan for about 10 years now. Accelerate does not help change this sadly.:no
Although, I do admit I liked Change. But on the positive side the album cover is pretty.
