I just hope they have really solid pop arrangements. I think that's what set A H and & really worthwhile, that although they had so many songs, each song would've been fine standing alone. I think a lot of her previous singles had to rely on their second a-side to be worthwhile.

I hope to hear smth like Game, About you, I am... Because of you. Her earlier rock-ish songs were so special! it would be great if she does it once again!!

Well, i've said it like a hundred times, but I LOVE AYU'S ROCK. it's one of the main reasons im a huge fan of her. i'm always looking forward for her rock releases.

You might say "why don't you listen a rock band instead?" well... i already listen to rock/trash/metal bands.:P However, Ayu's rock is very special. No matter how hard might be her releases, she always puts her own touch in these songs, and even if the sound is dark or hard, it manages to be still feminine and pretty. usually rock songs are associated with big guys with long hair that are screaming and growling and having these aggresive/angry songs. if you look at the surface you might think she doesn't fit this idea. but when she sings songs like these it's like she's saying "i'm small and pretty and cute, but i can be hard and strong and aggresive too" usually these concepts are separated and are not supposed to be "mixed" but i think she challenges these (ridiculous) clichés when she releases a rock song... and that's something i truly love.

Some of ayu's ballads are among my favourites of all time, but with all due respect i think she made too much of them for rnrc. like Picaflor stated before, she already did six in her last cd :dead2 and honestly i seldom enjoyed them :headache also, her last singe was made of ballads and it seems crossroad is gonna be a ballad too. honestly some novelty in L would be more than welcomed. :) ( i have a feeling that this single is gonna be awesome though... :luv2)

Me too!! I LOVE her rock songs! That would be so awesome if at least one of these new songs was rock.

And, if one of the PVs would be directed by Kouki Tange (the director who did "ourselves", "Because of You", and "alterna"), that would be the best thing ever!:luv2 :thud

But, whatever happens, I'm sure these next two singles are going to be something special! I'm so excited to see what Ayu has planned! :D

Yes! I personally dislike all 3 songs, and I would hate to hear another one like that. The ending credits. "let's sing one more time! together! everybody!" type of songs that's kind of in a "swing" melody and is very guitar heavy, and has no other place on an album other than the very last song. Reason I said that is because I thought everyone else loved those songs. I just have a horrible feeling that we're not done with those songs yet.

Yes, its like in those 3 songs specifically, the exact same instruments with just a slightly different arrangement. If she's gonna do one of those songs for L, even though I don't much care for it, I'd rather it sound like Humming 7/4 since that song is a "let's do this together!POWA!" song but it doesn't song like the others.

I couldn't have said it better myself. It's established that crossroads is gonna be a be a ballad, but I hope the second song is a rock song.

Lol. How much ayu stuff do you own btw?

I'm a fan of Ayu's rock too. I think her voice totally suits that style. I really enjoy rock, but I'm not the biggest fan of American rock. J-ROCK is tight and Ayu's is top of the line.

my preferences what i would love to have (similar genre, not exactly, but you now the point) and what i DONT want to happen :D

If rock/electro = About you, GAME, NEVER EVER/Daybreak/evolution/until that day style (i mean just that type...) Because of you Not: Microphone, Rule, talking 2 myself (i like them, but they are very predictable and simmilar vibe)

If ballad = HAPPY ENDING, Hanabi, JEWEL, HEAVEN (it's kinda emotional, but i think that ballad is special, very unique in their own) Not: You were..., No way to say, Moon, any "rock" slow song (we got plenty of it)

If pop = Sexy little thing, Sparkle, STEP you, Startin', real me, ourselves, INSPIRE Not: Beatifull Fighters, NEXT LEVEL, blossom (i love it, but it's too new, to have another similar song) BLUE BIRD, glitter, that type of "cheesy casual japanese mid/fast tempo pop"

love in music 14th August 2010 12:10 AM

I want ballads and upbeat pop songs. If she has to do something rock i'll be okay with something like Life or Memorial address.

perfectodub 14th August 2010 12:57 AM

something like "this", something like "that"

why we can't just wait for something completely different?
like nothing before?

Well there's like a few options left lol and they're not all too pleasant.

Just because I want a rock song doesn't mean it that its not going to be different from anything before. Ayu can vary her rock music :D

I don't mind if we have nothing done before but that's why there 4 songs we don't know yet. I want at least 1 to be rock-influenced ^____^
Why? Because I. Love. Rock.

perfectodub 14th August 2010 01:19 AM

i would like something like:
"Diana King - I say a little prayer" :D

It's a human thing: we need to compare to something that's already in existence. Thinking outside the box is not in our nature :D

Kazeyomi 14th August 2010 01:23 AM

I don't mind about musical genres so much, actually.
I'm pleased with every type of music she have done :yes (yes, even NOTHING from NOTHING rap :laugh)
I just want an awesome song, because her 50th single should be awesome lol.

AyumiAi 14th August 2010 01:35 AM

Im imagining Ayu now rapping XP
i mean it wouldnt be unpleaseant, but im more curious as to how she would spin it
to make it her own :P

adantatu2 14th August 2010 01:51 AM

I could be in shock if she releases NOTHING FROM NOTHING (2010 ver.)

ummmm this would never happen and shouldn't even be a suggestion lol

primavera♥ 14th August 2010 02:36 AM

I would love a 2010 version of the song Nothing from nothing or paperdoll or limit.
With a new arrangement or something. It would be sweet XD

Anyhow a re-recording of Poker Face for this single would be lovely :D

Picaflor 7/4 14th August 2010 02:51 AM

It's unlikely though since she was under a different label and would have to get permission, besides, I have a feeling she just wants to forget about that album lol.

It's equally unlikely because...who the hell cares about this album? smh.
