I don't see any reason why she would have to wait when her son will get older (and everyone will forget about her... if they already didn't). It's like saying that woman who have a kid have to stop work and sit home. OLIVIA wasn't never that popular to have a lot of promotional events or big concert tours on stadiums so...

I don't think that's what Zahara was trying to insinuate. If you follow Olivia's activities more closely, you'll notice that she has slowed down in some areas of her life that she was more active in before the birth of her son. She hasn't posted any updates on the homepage of her official website since her son's birth (the last update she posted was the day after her son was born and the post is about him) and she's also temporarily closed down her Etsy store recently. While those things may or may not be the sole determinants of her wanting to focus more on her son than work (none of us knows what's she doing outside of what she shares with us), there's nothing wrong with that if that's what she's decided to do. The way you worded it makes it seem as though there is something wrong with women who choose to stay home with their children and not work (or just "sit home" as you said, which worded that way makes it seem like you are reducing the role of homemakers to women who sit around and do nothing all day, which is untrue). If she has decided to be a homemaker and focus on her child, as long as that's what she wants to do and it makes her happy, then that's her business and her fans should be considerate of that if that is her choice. If she is still working on her music or doing other things behind the scenes that she hasn't revealed to us, that's great too. Either way, she still seemed passionate about her music when she last posted about it on her site but we'll just have to wait and see what's she's going to do in the future.

Spider bitch is busy spinning doilies.

No one said that, so please don't put words in my mouth. She obviously doesn't care about the fame or going back anytime soon. When was her last release? 5 years ago? She's moved on from music for the time being, she's enjoying her downtime.

She's enjoying time spent with her son. She's allowed to and that's her choice to make. I'm sure she hasn't given up music, but right now she's focused on other things.

@zeke. Omg I cannot unhear this.

I'm not machist or something but this is the pure truth, she's way too busy with her son

If anything, she'll just do indie stuff. Maybe with her sister.

mi|kshake 12th March 2015 11:57 PM

I always loved the songs she wrote with her brother <3

visionfactory 12th March 2015 11:58 PM

I don't care if it's indie stuff, Caroline's music is good too

Zahara 13th March 2015 05:51 AM

I've been listening to Caroline's remixes and they are so good. I want her to release more music, too.

visionfactory 13th March 2015 06:11 PM

She has some new music with Mice Parade, though it's not the same style as her own music

Zahara 17th March 2015 01:33 AM

^ late response, but I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!

oaristos 17th March 2015 02:13 AM

I don't think she will ever come back and that makes me depressed.
And talking about Caroline and Mice Parade, their album "What It Means to be Left-Handed" is pure gold, I love it.

mi|kshake 17th March 2015 11:49 PM

^What does their music sound like?

Yeah, I do wonder if she ever will come back. I wouldn't mind if she just chucked a mini album on iTunes or something.

Love Olivia!

The Lost Lolli is still SO good.
Cupid, Celestial Delinquent and Spacehalo are so beautiful. Alone in Our Castle breaks my heart.

dreamalley 15th June 2017 07:28 PM

I miss her music.

It feels like such a waste that she's not releasing anything and just falling into oblivion.

Aderianu 15th June 2017 08:11 PM

damn :) I had a hope to see news about music. Seems it will never happen again

mi|kshake 15th June 2017 10:42 PM

I need to add The Lost Lolli to my "to listen to" list. I really miss her and wonder if she will ever come back? If she did say she was going to retire at least we'd know.
