I think she can decide for herself, you guys are all boring with 'break thing', I mean, every year we have same discussion. If you are bored with her music go listen to something else. Why would she shut down her creativity just for the sake of fans who are tired of her.

Ayu has been going for 13 years now, and all of the work she has now probably isn't much compared to when she was at her peak. only she knows what's best for her and if she feels that she needs to rest, then she will. otherwise let her continue doing what she loves, and let's be happy for her. :yes

You know, my mom is working each day from 3.30am to 6pm, the whole year, except sundays, and she is older than Ayu, so I would say: Ayu can absolutely continue with her work like she always did. It's an enjoyable job compared to the jobs other people have to work at each and every day.

People who want Ayu to take a break should prolly take a break from her instead. She isn't 3 years old, if she is tired she'll rest.

I don't get why people are saying she should take a break..people that do actual real hard work like firefighters, nurses, etc don't take year long breaks...Ayu is living a once in a million chance and dream. Why would she take a "break"?

I don't think Ayu would know what to do with herself if she took a break. She loves doing what she does, or else she wouldn't do it anymore. I'd love to see her spend more time with her hubby, but that's not something she would "normally" do... if you know what I mean... :innocent

I think she should take a break and have a child. She can still write songs and do some recording, just give up most of her hectic schedule...no touring and no 'crazy busy'.

I think she's really gonna regret not having a child when she's older.

Besides, there's loads of hollywood stars who have kids and still work. Ayu just would have to tone it down a bit.

So many career people put off having kids only to regret it, especially the ones who miss their chance completely and end up childless.

Don't know, but I think that is something really intimate, unique, and personal, different for everyone. The same with marriage. A lot of people thought that she never could be married, or at least that it would be really late.. and look what happened!

Ayu is really unpredictable, and she's really confident with every thing she does. Why having a child just by her age? Let it be! What has to come, it will come =)

You really have no idea what some peoples reasons are for something like that so you really shouldn't make such definite statements. As you said, that sort of thing is life changing and not everyone can do it, some people don't do it, some people won't do it, and it doesn't mean they'll regret it either.

What Ayu does is her own business; in my opinion, as long as she's happy and enjoying what she's doing then she should keep doing it. She could be forced into taking a break and be completely miserable regardless of what she does; is that worth it just for taking a break?

As long as someone is happy just let them do what they want; she's not hurting anyone really.

I don't think Ayu needs a break for musical reasons or anything like that, but if she's burning herself out physically I would hope she would take a break to rest if she feels overwhelmed. She's use to the hectic life style so I assume she knows her boundaries. I don't want her pushing herself beyond the breaking point on anyone's account.

where are you guys getting that this trip is confirmation that she is recording? She could be going there for ANY NUMBER or reasons...
