i don't mean her english. Well for the record i think the best part of the song is that closing line she said. I just think it's such a random word and it doesn't really give off the feeling i would think it should give. "Whatever" is really a weird choice for a song lol

I actually can listen to it, but i had higher expectations, cuz to me the preview from the live sounded much much stronger. I mean it has a melody which is good and i like the mood it gives, but it's lacking for me. I don't hate it though, i've already said it's definitely better than anything on Colours. And um yeah the genre is very hit or miss for me. If it's too simplistic is falls flat on it's face especially when there are no strong and impressive vocals to lead it. Ayu sounds nice, but that's all. I really would want more oomph in the chorus it just all sound very monotonous from the start to the end. It isn't awful but i'm not really impressed, it doesn't give me a rush of exploding energy. It is lazily energetic, like when you are half asleep doing something lol However, as i said i would take this in place of anything from Colours anytime.

Sayonara is... ok. It's not bad, the beat is good, but I just couldn't bring myself to like it that much, I got tired half way through the song. It felt boring to me, like it tries to impress but doesn't quite get there.

imo Summer Diary and Step by step are waaay better.

The 'whatever' ties to the previous sentence ('starting tomorrow while looking like nothing happened').

Not as good as Summer diary for me, but really nice and unique in her discography. The English lyrics and delivery at the end are impressive too!

Perhaps I need to give it some time, but the song is not exactly engaging me. Whoever said it kinda sounds like background music you listen to when you're half-asleep or doing something else is spot on—but this comes with the territory since this is essentially 99% of Western-style EDM in my eyes. Give me samey sounding Yuta Nakano arrangements over this any day.

I actually thought it was fing great! I love it head to toe and didn't want it to end, and then ayu finished it with that smashing line epically <3.

It also kinda reminds me David Guetta/Avichii style.

Oh and she definitely learned from What is forever love. The last sentence at the end was pronounced graciously by her.

It's neat how this CD's gonna have music on it. :D

Its a lovely song! Still not better than summer diary, for me, but hey! This "mini" album is going to be replayed for several months i think!!!! So amazing!

I like the beat, and thats it. It's pretty "lazy, sleepy" song actually. And well, as Cika said it's still better than anything from Colours XD (except WIFL, cause I like that track lol) Just ok song just like Sbs and Sd. Nothing spectacular. Still better than loads of ballads or crappy techno.
