The ones who love to talk about the supposed thousand surgeries on her face should do it, not me, and if it were just an opinion like "oh looks like she had a job done" fine but sometimes are about 10 to 20 comments discussing if she did it or not (shame on me also commenting again but oh well), I wasn't trying to be rude, it was an honest suggestion, this thread imo should inform about her social media + events and of course anyone can comment if they like or dislike a certain picture/look here (I do that too) but it's tiring to read some "experts on surgeries" talking about her face/body on this thread always. :)

Needles can do amazing things these days. No need to take time off.

As to the conversation about her appearance that is forever ongoing. Its a social media account. Most people post selfies. And since she's not releasing any new music, there isn't much else to talk about.

As long as it's on topic, you can't dictate the flow of a conversation on a public forum. People have opinions and like to express them, and not everyone is gonna agree.

Personally, I think Ayu's Instagram photos a bomb af. IMO she looks kinda different when she posts various pictures, but she always looks good. And we all know she doesn't give af. She's rich. And she deserves to be.

I'm okay with her having plastic surgery.. you're right, it's her body and her money but I do feel like it's not needed in her case and think she's naturally beautiful. I think the reason some people get more upset about the possibility of her having plastic surgery is because she talks about accepting yourself as you are in some of her lyrics and blog posts. If she has had plastic surgery it's sending mixed messages and fans have a right to not like that and voice their opinions.

the only issue for me is that everyone says "plastic surgery" but for me it looks like she only uses fillers like Gaga and Kesha and a lot of singers. even the male ones. they make them look bloated for a while and then they settle. if it's not that, then probably she's taking some medicine for her knee pain that makes her face a little bit bloated. but for me she looks pretty much the same aside from that, she also changes hairstyles and make-up styles pretty often.

I'm saying that because I agree with njanjayrp, she doesn't seem to have the time to recover from surgery. she posts selfies with her current hairstyle and pictures from her routine almost daily.

I personally didn't think you were attacking anyone, and it wouldn't be a bad idea to open a thread for "Ayu & Her Alleged Procedures" (:laugh). However, I would still "argue" (for lack of a better term), with a thread about social media its almost inevitable some people are still going to talk about her nose/boob/eye/ear/mouth/chin/cheek/armpit procedures when she posts a selfie.

I respectfully disagree, people like to nitpick every single thing.

You can give advice but not necessarily find it easy to apply it to yourself.

Honestly i would find it a bit odd if she wasn't trying out some procedures, like botox and stuff, my co-workers do (mind you none of them are famous or earning millions lol).

BTW i remember the last time she gained a bit of weight, she looked no different to me than she does now, with a bit more meat on her. Her make-up routine does a lot though, not to mention she has access to expensive skin-care and stuff like that. Make-up techniques change through time as well it does a lot to ones face. But really all i find is she sometimes has these odd photo angles, and moreover, cameras are notorious for distortion. Also photo retouching. We have had a lot of examples where her looks have been tampered with by photographers: jaw line, waistline etc. It's nothing new really. And usually when nothing particularly interesting is going on in a celebrities life, people start to go after their looks.

A lot of the apps she uses though nowadays alter the shape of faces and such so it's hard to say. I mean there have also been magazine shoots where her face looked really strange due to retouching and the shape being altered by either Leslie or Shimoko to the point where there was no definition anymore and her face was just a blob.

I wouldnt judge her face or voice baser on any official release considering it all can be edited.

I'm not rich like Ayu so I can't afford any plastic surgery...but I look very different in different selfies. :D

I’ve been saying she’s been getting fillers since her 15th anni but nobody believed me lol. We can point it out because we’re not blind, but it’s also her choice. As long as nobody is insulting Ayu or someone else then commenting about this is purely an observation

I think it's really the past 3 or so years that it has not looked good. Her TV appearances are generally 1-2 times per year these days, and it always seems like she gets some filler right before appearing. I'm sure this is driven by feeling like she's going to be judged, but it always looks like it hasn't had enough time to settle and she just looks puffy and weird, and more importantly - not like herself. I say this vs. when I saw her in 2015 & 2016 TA tours, very close, and she looked STUNNING. She doesn't need fillers, or at least not overboard like she does before TV appearances. I just wish someone would advise her to time it a little better.

Edit: And with regards to having work done, I also really feel like it has only/mostly been fillers (and of course her teeth, years ago). She has always looked drastically different based on hair and make-up, throughout the full extent of her career. Then she goes and does some candid make-up-free shot and always looks like the same girl.

So how you explain the fact she was puffy when she does her Line live and she was normal during the repetition of B&D the same day ?

It's just obviously a touchy subject for some people, maybe they think that you're hating on ayu just for saying she probably had plastic surgery when like you said, it's just an observation. I honestly just hope she doesn't get addicted to it and wind up never looking like herself ever again, not just because I like her face but I don't want her to be mentally unwell and always think there's something wrong with her looks.

I don’t wish her body dysmorphia and nobody else does either. Ayu is stunning on her own and if she wants to do any cosmetic changes to her body she’s free to do so. I think that the concern comes from the industry that she’s in being very superficial by nature and Japan being very ageist. We’ve all read the 2ch comments and her lyrics show that she’s not above being hurt by the public’s perception ...so I understand that those who can’t discern the observations from flat out hate are acting the way that they are: because we all know how much this affects Ayu and we feel for her.
