there will be two editions of this magazine, one with GaGa and one with Britney on the cover

She says "work your blonde Benet Ramsey"

Keys version was very different.

Dance in the DArk has been confirmed to be Fear of Death, although fear of rejection def works too, even together with that fear of death. The females mentioned in the song (Judy Garland, Sylvia Plath, Marilyn Monroe, Jean Ramsey) are all woman who have died tragically (murder, suicide, drugs, etc.)

interesting...

I finally got my copy of The Fame Monster. It's censored though. :( I'm a freak bit baby! At least I have the uncensored version of Bad Romance from iTunes.

GRACE 14th December 2009 05:46 AM

Super Deluxe has also been confirmed to be censored :(

waterballoon 14th December 2009 06:20 AM

I just don't understand why it would be censored. I mean there's nothing wrong with a censored version, but shouldn't there be an uncensored version too? There's "EXPLICIT" and "CLEAN" versions of hip-hop albums... but nothing like that for Gaga? lol

Miltonic 14th December 2009 06:28 AM

They're probably going to release it later so they can make more money out of us :/

GRACE 14th December 2009 07:59 AM

Apparently Gaga said that she let them censor it so the album wouldn't have the "explicit" sticker on the cover art, she didn't want it on the image lol

lol that's kinda cute, but Gaga we can remove it if we want to!

keepsgettinbetter 14th December 2009 04:49 PM

No guys, they print it on the artwork now. Don't they? :shrug

waterballoon 14th December 2009 04:59 PM

^ Ugh if they do, then that's butt-ugly. But I have to ask, which songs are "censored"? The Bad Romance I have has the b-word in full, yet in Dance in the Dark she sings "I'm a free bit"... and I wonder if that's the real lyric, or did they censor the b-word in there lol.

Yea I'm pretty sure they print it on the actual artwork.

Bad Romance is censored too on the album, but the single that came out before the album wasn't, that's why there's an uncensored floating around. They definitely censored bit in the songs it's sung, Dance In The Dark and Bad Romance. When she sings Dance In The Dark live, she really emphasizes the b-word, lol. I'm pretty sure they censored Monster too, since she sings the F-word live.

waterballoon 14th December 2009 05:12 PM

omg I couldn't hear any F-word in Monster! wow we really need an uncensored edition of the album then...

zoomzoom 14th December 2009 05:54 PM

It's sort of blacked out or half pronounced.

Before the main part she sings:

I asked my girlfriend if she’d seen you 'round before
She mumbled something while we got down on the floor baby
We might’ve ****ed not really sure, don’t quite recall
But something tells me that I’ve seen him, yeah

Terri 14th December 2009 05:54 PM

Since she's "came out" there hasn't been a song I didn't like from her. I think she's the best thing since Britney in the 90's ^^

Celaphorce 14th December 2009 05:55 PM

^That's what I'm saying!! I love hearing my fave artists being explicit, it's hott!! LOL and yeah she sings "we might have ********d, not really sure don't quite recall" in monster.

and doesn't she say ********d in Speechless too?

zoomzoom 14th December 2009 06:01 PM

I think she says "wrecked up friends" but have used the f-word sometimes live as a punch I guess, idk. She also says s-hit in Teeth, but it's not censored, so I guess that's an OK thing to say.

waterballoon 14th December 2009 06:04 PM

oh so that's where the F-word appears in Monster lol thanks!

noidea 14th December 2009 06:10 PM

I was seriously pissed that my german version is censored. I can accept it in countrys that put parental advisory on records, but that isn't done here, so why is it censored? o.0

Maemi 14th December 2009 07:03 PM

Does anyone have uncensored version of Monster? T.T

Not yet :(
People assumed the Super Deluxe would come uncensored as this came at a "later date", but that's been confirmed to be censored too. So we have no idea when it's going to become uncensored. :shrug
