Thank you RR!

I heard this song playing on NNN, I was wondering where I could find it lol
It's really nice, I prefer it over the original actually. Kudos to whoever made that remix.

Is it? Maybe I should start investing in VoCE more than Vivi...Vivi kind of annoys me with it's horror vacui approach to publishing...that might just be Japan though...always wanting to cram as much as possible down your throat...

I think this is my favorite shoot from her.

330k first week sales are great. Definitely higher than any other female's original album in about 2 years as far as I know.

That was last year...

SunshineSlayer 23rd December 2009 03:03 AM

^ All of those albums came out towards the begining of 2008, therefore, yes it was 2 years ago or at least very close to it. Both Koda's and Ayu's came out in Jan. only Utada's was released later in March.

ville 23rd December 2009 01:20 PM

yeah, but didn't GUILTY's firstweek sales include 2nd week sales too, because it was New Year?

exactly.

and...

Namie Amuro's (32) first original album in 2-and-a-half years [PAST<FUTURE] attained #1 in its first week of sales. With this, she has become the first female singer ever to attain a #1 original album across 3 'generations' in her teens, twenties and thirties.

Namie attained #1 in her teens with albums such as [DANCE TRACKS VOL 1] (1995), and in her twenties with [GENIUS 2000] etc. The current album [PAST<FUTURE] is her 6th #1 original album. [PAST<FUTURE] sold 331,000 copies in its first week, beating her previous original album [PLAY]'s (released June 2007) first-week sales of 251,000. It's been 9 years and 11 months since an original album released by her has sold more than 300,000 copies in its first week.

*__*

I'm pretty sure they're by the same publisher and I've heard that VoCE's target audience is over 30. I personally love ViVi, I don't really care for any other Japanese fashion magazines.

Hey guys, did we get GLAMEROUS scans yet? Here's an article about the shoot from ningin :).

Namie Amuro is featured on the cover and within the latest issue of Glamorous. And what a perfect word for what she looks like in here. She’s placed into a fabulous glow, as it just seems to pop off the page. The theme is an “Art Noveau”and you can see a lot of this style in art museums. Hmm, she kinda reminds me of Tarot cards at the same time!

Yeah we know there’s a little help in the digital department, but its very artistic. Anyways, from the people who I’ve known to meet her, she is claimed to look fantastic in person!

Forgot all about those.

She looks like Jessica Alba, as I've said before, but the imagery reminds me of Angelina Jolie.
