Fight Together really is catchy. It doesn't sound like a Namie song, but I still like it.

So here I am, listening to Checkmate! once more. make it happen, FAKE, and #1 all grew on me.

I can't seem to get into FAKE. I like this album but there are a few songs that I'm not crazy about.

Fight Together is so good! It's different from what Namie usually does, which makes me happy... we don't hear songs like this from her very often :D

I start to feel very happy by the end, when she says "Life goes on...", it makes me smile :)

Hmmm... seeing as how the full version of Fight Together is out I'm wondering how much longer we'll have to wait before we hear more of Naked or at least get a title for the 3rd song.

I used to strongly dislike FAKE, but now after giving it more chances I think it's just damn amazing.

Checkmate has held on to #3 for the day. I know it'll rank somewhere in the top #10 for the week. I'm gonna take a guess and say it'll be somewhere in the top 5.

Alright so I know this is really random or whatever, but I was just thinking about it (considering a lot of Japanese artists are celebrating their 10th anniversary) and I think we need to go big for Namie's 20th anniversary which is in another 4 years, hahaha.

Yeah I know it's 4 years away, but whatever, I got really excited thinking about it.

This past year ('10) was her 15th anniversary.

This year will be her 16th year in the business, if you count from 'Body Feels Exit'/ Dance Tracks Compilation (1995)

Again, I know it's a long way away....and I know it's been brought up in these threads before buttt I really want to do something big for her 20th.

I don't think she knows how much love she has from her English-speaking fans, and all of the Ayu projects got me thinking it would be really nice to do something like that for Namie (if it hasn't been done already). We could make it into something really nice and even plan ahead and add on as she comes out with new stuff in the years to come or something.

Okay, again, I know this is random and totally out there (and 4 years away), but please share your thoughts on this! haha

Yeah, Namie debuted with the Super Monkeys back in '92 so I think she is either on her 20th year or that'll be next year. I would really love to see some kind of reunion with MAX as a celebration of Super Monkeys 20 years in the entertainment business.

Once again, Checkmate held on to the #3 spot on the daily chart. At this rate I really think it'll slowly climb its way up to 500k.

Ahh alright, that's why I posted the '95 thing, cause I wasn't sure if they counted from her time debuting as a group singer or a solo singer.

Anyway, that really wasn't my point. I think it would be awesome to do something for her 20th -- which, if they count from '92 is next year.
